My family and I stopped into Rushing Trading Co for a quick bite to eat before a fun afternoon at the Zoo. It was my first visit to this restaurant and I will certainly be coming back again. I ordered an Earl Grey tea with a coup of tomato bisque soup. My sister got a soup and sandwich meal. All of the food and drinks were superb and our server was absolutely delightful. Aracelli was so sweet! Food was amazing, I loved we got here in enough time before the rush! We sat at the bar, got a blueberry mimosa and a mocha with Irish liquor 😋😋We got the breakfast in Normandy, fruit and the salmon BLT! The salmon is great, doesn't cover the whole bread but it's incredibly filling regulardless! Overall tasty and a cheap brunch! Tip y'all's waitress well this year! I live a mile or so from here & I’m kicking myself for not trying it sooner! My husband always loved their coffee, but we tried their breakfast for the first time & can’t wait to come back. The strawberry cream cheese French toast was AMAZING!! The biscuit was also delicious (slightly dry~needs to be brushed with butter). I was happy they altered the empress drink for me since I’m not too fond of gin. I love the little wooden boards the food comes out on. Frances was attentive and excellent! Nice outdoor area with giant umbrellas and shade. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30
I love this little place! We went on a Saturday morning and got there around 9am, we got the last open table besides the bar seating. So it definitely gets busy. We started with some White Mocha coffees, which were probably some of the best we’ve ever had! We also got the Brown Sugar Biscuit Bites which were very good. The food was absolutely amazing as well, definitely recommend the Middle Earth Bowl. However, the portions are smaller than is typical, and the prices somewhat high. I got a chicken biscuit w/croissant bread and it was $11, and didn’t even come with any sides etc. It was very good, but, maybe not $11 good. If you go with someone, don’t expect to spend less than $50 if you’re getting coffees and such with your food. BUT. It was delicious, so, I definitely plan to come back as a rare treat. I did LOVE the atmosphere here! The food was out quick and our server was very attentive. The high price vs little food you get is the only reason I’ve deducted a star. Throw in some scrambled eggs on the sides and it’d feel like much much better bang for buck! Service Dine in
Cool place. This was my first time here. I arrived about 9:45 and was seated immediately, inside. Although I love that they have blankets if you want to sit outside. Atmosphere was very calming. Service was great. You can either park on the street or in the parking garage. Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Update: I have been a long-time customer for many years. My family loves brunch. There are many great brunch places in the area. We really like the food here. However, we don't come here as much as we used to because other places have started offering a wait list or reservations. We came here today, and it's in the low 60s with lots of wind. There were only tables available outside without a wait. We went ahead and took the table, and we were seated for about 10 mins. We asked the waitress if the heat lamp could be turned on she said no. Then two tables opened up inside. Take in mind we haven't received any food. The hostess said they had a policy that once you are seated you can't be moved. They offered blankets. Which I did take for the children. I went here on a Wednesday during lunch time. It was pretty busy, I'm sure it's insane on the weekends. I loved this place ❤️. Coffee ☕️ was good, food was amazing 👏 and service was efficient and friendly. I will definitely come here, but I will probably stick to weekdays. I really thought the El ranchero toast with shrimp addition was the highlight of the meal for me. My husband enjoyed everything and loved the middle earth bowl (grits and eggs). I probably won't order their tomato soup again, it was a little on the sweet side. We shared the mini brown sugar biscuits, and it was the perfect portion. 🥰 This place is so great, I only wish I had known about it sooner. I usually go earlier for breakfast since brunch can a little hectic on the weekends with wait times. The food is yummy and they have a variety of coffee beverages which are also very good! They also have seasonal coffee drinks. I had the garden cookie cold brew (lavender and hazelnut syrup in cold brew coffee). Seating is very limited as the restaurant is on the smaller side. There is also seating outside. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Rushing Trading Co is my GO TO brunch spot. My wife and I frequent here a lot and know a few of the wonderful staff and they’re always so so kind and lovely. The food and coffee is phenomenal—it’s my favorite brunch place and I bring tons of my friends here! The strawberry stuffed French toast is so so so delicious and the grits are amazing (seriously even if you don’t like grits you’ll probably enjoy them they’re so creamy!). Coffee is always super good, if we lived closer this would be my go to coffee spot. I can also get oatmilk which is a plus! I’ve also tried their chai latte, some of their alcoholic drinks, and seasonal drinks and they’re always super tasty’ Recently took a large group of friends and Araceli, our server, was absolutely wonderful. We had a great time and I highly recommend RTC to everyone 🥰 Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
