There aren’t many places in this entire area that can provide a culinary experience on the level Rue 561 Bistro delivers. Attention to detail, friendly staff, comfortable white tablecloth atmosphere, and BYOB. Don’t forget to bring a nice bottle of red to pair with their incredible Pat Lafrieda 45 day dry-aged steak selections. Food was excellent! Service was good. Would definitely return. Only thing we found a bit odd is there’s no hostess station or waiting area and that was a bit uncomfortable but the food more than made up for it! Our first visit was on a holiday (Valentine’s Day) so I’ll reserve my opinion of the service for a return visit on a less hectic evening. Definitely want to go back! Always an amazing experience at Rue 561. If you’re looking for huge portions, bread on the table, & cheap food go to a chain restaurant. This place makes normal sized portions & high quality food in a lovely BYOB atmosphere with superb service. If you love good food & experience, you’ll see why it’s worth every penny. We visited again last night for our second time and really do love this place ! The atmosphere is cozy, service is personal and attentive and the food is superb with many gluten free options for me (celiac). We can't wait to come back and highly recommend. So many places boast about how they're this and that, Rue feels like a humble gem of a restaurant with top notch food, without all the fanfare. Waitress and atmosphere were great and very much delightful, but am very frustrated over the fact that I spent $40 for a dry pork shop that was severely underseasoned. I feel bad for leaving such a poor review but the porkchop was very rough. The portion size was fine for this style of restaurant but as mentioned it was dry and bland in flavor.
