We had lunch here. Cute place where you order at the counter and then have food brought to your table. We had two kids hamburgers well done that were beyond charbroiled. The kids literally didn't each any of it. The fries and french toast plate were good. I had an appointment scheduled near by and was early to arrive, so I decided to stop at Rudy's to kill time. Just as I was making my way to the front door the manager was closing up the diner and locking up for the day. He could see my disappointment and graciously invited me in allowing me to spend around an hour hanging out in the diner while he closed up; he even kindly offered to sell/provide some beverages in spite the fact the kitchen was done for the night. Great food, quick service and a cute atmosphere. I got the corned beef hash and eggs, pancakes, French toast, Popeye omelet. The only thing we could’ve passed on were the pancakes, they’re pretty average.
