The food has always been great for most of the chains I have visited… they have changed a lot recently and I have not had the opportunity to eat out much, but I enjoyed the good while it lasted. The salad bar needs attending regularly. Seems unorganized when it comes to seating. Place just looks tired is the best way I can put it. We went once and were quite underwhelmed. As the kids would say, this restaurant is very “mid”. The service was pretty decent but the food was below average. There was no semblance of presentation and the burger just lacked that quality you should get in a sit down restaurant. Looked more like a late night Wendys burger. It’s a shame because I have lots of fond memories of this chain. The one that used to be in Jackson, TN was the go-to lunch meetup for me and my grandfather who passed 7 years ago. I think I understand why that location in Jackson, TN and many others went away. The first time I went I got shrimp, fries, and a half a rack of baby back ribs. The fries was not done the shrimp were not good but the ribs was pretty good. I gave them another try I got a full rack of baby back ribs and fries. The ribs was okay but my friend was still not done and they didn't give me a lot of fries. The food was fine. When we arrived(group of 5)on New Years Eve evening, there were very few patrons there(3 people at the bar) no one seated from what I could see. The salad bar area was unclean, unappetizing for this reason. We all declined salads with our meals. The service was not very good. We had to ask for things more than once before receiving them. One of the people with our group asked our waitperson for ranch dressing, twice, to go with her appetizer(loaded potato skins). The waitperson walked pass the salad station, brought her a small cup and told her to get the dressing from the salad bar herself. 2 of the ladies in our group visited the ladies' bathroom. 12/23 Ruby Tuesday of Pearl, MS. Service was by far exceeded my expectations. Our waiter was outstanding. Salad bar was well stocked and replenished as we ate. Bacon club was excellent. Clean restaurant and restrooms. Parking was plentiful. Right off I 20 exit in Pearl, MS. Food was very reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be eating here again.
