This is the definition of a good dive bar. It has really good burgers, the night bar tender on Wednesdays has an insanely good memory, he remembers my order only after a few visits. Most of the patrons seem to know each other. Which can lead to less than enjoyable very loud conversations. If you are looking for a cheap spot to go after work, give this place a shot. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Deluxe 1 2 lb Kickin Burger

Very Bukowski. Best food prices in ALL of Oakland County. Very safe room. Familiar faces because people are serious about relieving their day of stress. Pool table makes for a basement feel. I am proud to say I tend bar Tuesday and Wednesdays. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
We ordered through uber last week. We got the french dip, 4 corner pizza and a coney dog. The french dip was very small for the price, the meat tasted terrible or it was seasoned bad, the bun edges were also hard. The Dip for the sandwich was not aus jus sauce or anything that should be served. The Chili Dog had a sweet flavor to it. The Pizza was ok, the toppings were good quality but the sauce was not the best tasting. It also could have been cooked another minute or so.

I'd give it zero stars if I could. Mouthy bartender on Saturday nights. Can't find her? She's outside sitting and smoking. Need a drink? To bad! And that's what she will tell you! Don't dare ask for water or She slams down a whole pitcher so she doesn't have to bother with you. Never have I seen such unprofessionalism in my life! Don't dare put money on the jukebox if shes working because she just skips your songs or turns it off completely so people can "watch football".... Not a sports bar and it's not played through the speakers so you can't hear the game on the TV anyway, so why no music? And if you have the nerve to try to talk to the bartender or ask questions, she just throws your tab at you and kicks you out! The other bartenders are GREAT but one rotten apple spoils the bunch. If your looking to get cussed at, cut off, or not served, this is where you want to be Saturday nights after 630pm. Won't be going there anymore after years of going unless she's NOT working! Surprisingly fun hole-in-the-wall bar! Went here to watch a March madness game on a whim and glad I did. The servers/waitresses were super nice and my brother and I agreed that the food was amazing. I would definitely come again and would order pick-up on their food menu if I wanted something quick and yummy. Good prices and happy hour/daily deals too.

Solid dive bar all-around, it's nice to walk here and have a few well-priced drinks and eat some decent bar food for pretty cheap, especially compared to other Royal Oak/Clawson bars. Cassandra is always a delight, i don't know the other bartenders by name but they're all good at enriching the experience. I've gone here with friends and by myself, the crowd is usually pretty friendly and good to chat with. Their cheese sticks have gotten me in the door more than a few times because they're HOMEMADE!!!! SO YUMMY Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had lunch and beers yesterday- Loved it all!! Started with a very cold Oberon and Onion Chips. Those onion chips are to die for!! Make sure to ask for both Ranch and Chipotle Ranch for dipping! Had a second very cold Oberon and ordered the Italian Sub, and hubs had The Pig Shack with fries. Wowwweeee- all delicious, and those skinny fries...also super tasty! Typical bar atmosphere and great service! It's just a neat little local dive bar, with really tasty food! And Pull Tabs! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I love a good dive bar, but this was just a bad bar. Our bartender really wasn't friendly, but not terrible. Their carbonation is so, so bad. The soda water and coke were far from fizzy. We tried the chicken sandwich special, special it was not, and the worst sandwich I have ever eaten. It was so over-fried it was almost black. A good dive bar should have 1 of 3, good food, drink, or service... I found none of this here.
If we ever want good bar food, this is where we order from. I've ordered delivery from here 4 times in a single week... Not that I should be proud of that but this place is that good. We've had their chicken tenders (4/5 tad too much salt) BLT (5/5 highly recommend) patty melt (5/5 great) pepperoni sticks (5/5 amazing app) grilled chicken sandwich (5/5 grilled chicken was juicy and tender with good flavor) potato skins (hard to give a score, they weren't as good cold so probably better ordering there) and we usually get chips (it's a bag of lays, they should really consider making their own) or fries (3/5 needs more seasoning, but we salt them ourselves). I've ordered delivery 6 times on GrubHub... One day I'll go visit in person, just hard because it doesn't look like their seating can accommodate more than a table of 4. If you want bar food, go here because I don't think they have anything bad on their menu.
We have now ordered carryout here over 5 times. It never fails to meet our satisfaction. We look forward to dining in person here soon. But from the pizza sticks, Ruben, sliders, and BLT they know what they are doing. Definitely is a staple in our house. My only feedback is for the meals that come with chips, should come with homemade chips. They do everything well, this would just top it off.
