We had a birthday party here for 14 kids in September, we picked the All Inclusive package. We had the big party room which is spacious, with karaoke and nice party tables. If planning a birthday party there, you might want to get there at least 45 minutes early to wait in line to order food and drinks, get all the game cards and bowling setup for your guests. They are short of staff to take care of the party people, and the wait can be long. Plus the credit card machine was not working at that time, make sure to bring cash to buy the game cards.
It’s strongly suggested Round 1 include rainbow slider games in the birthday package, not just the green/blue slider games. A lot of kids are upset they can’t play those rainbow sliders games with the game cards comes with the birthday party. I understand you need to make money Round 1, but you need to at least include some of those rainbow slider games for the kids.
This place has an amazing staff that made our experience a great one! I've been here a handful of times and never had a bad experience. But I must say that our visit last night was even better due to the service level of everyone, but particularly a guy named "Bryan".
When we went to buy our gamer cards, we didn't know which version to get, the regular card or the membership card. He was able to thoroughly explain the difference (and benefits) of each, which helped us to choose the membership card. It's a much better option if you plan to visit multiple times.
One of the games that we tried didn't work for whatever reason. And when I went to inform Bryan at the counter, he personally came over to help fix the game and make sure that we were able to play it without having to get charged credits again. I wasn't expecting that!
In all, this place is super fun. They have everything under one roof! Great for kids & adults. And their food is good too!
On a rainy day we took the kids to check out Round1 in Hayward. Everything was nice except their Spark Bowling was not worth the $46.00 they charged for a 60 min session. The bowling lane was too lit up and bright for you to see the images on the floor. We looked at the experience online and it definitely is not what it was advertised to seem.
If I could give it 0 stars I would. Never in my life have I received such horrible service as I received here over the weekend. From the managers to the staff, never have I witnessed such incompetence.
If you would like to wait 1hour and 20 minutes to receive most of your order and be told that the only reason why your food hasn’t come out is because you keep bothering them (asked 3 times over a period of one hour and 10 minutes) by all means enjoy this place.
Just for reference we ordered 2 cheeseburger combos, chicken sandwich combo, and 3 slices of pizza. There was nothing complicated about the order.
Round 1 is fun! I love going to play pool but the little rude girl at the register ruined the whole thing. She was the small one that was working at the register to get game cards and the pool equipment on 2/25/24, we were there from 3-4 pm. Management should really talk to her and teach her some manners and customer service.
I had never written a review for any places, but with this place I have to. And If even I would rate 0 stars, I would. The staff and manager here are extremely unprofessional. My friends and I saw one billiard table available so we asked for a billiard table at 10:05 pm. One of the staff put us in the waitlist and told us the waiting time was 30 mins and would send us a text when ready.
We waited for about 45 mins and saw a couples of tables available. But they told me billiards and bowling CLOSED AT 10:30 PM. We asked for an explanation and a girl with curly blond hair said the waitlist didn’t guarantee we would have a slot. BUT IF YOU KNOW WE COULD MAKE IT WHY WOULD YOU ADD US TO THE WAILIST AND MAKE US WAIT? We drove 1 hours here for nothing. We even asked to see her manager but she refused and didn’t want to bring the manager because “the manager will say the same thing”. They need a better training for their staff and manager as well. If you plan to visit this place, prepare for this unprofessionalism and inconvenience.
We came to this Round1 at 10:05 PM and asked for a table for billiard. The staff told us to sign on the waitlist and he MENTIONED us to wait for 30 minute to get a table. We agreed and sat around until 10:42, not a complain. But when my friend saw they put a closed sign on the table, we came to ask and staffs said they closed the billiard and bowling at 10h30PM. We were so confusing because if they close at 10h30, why they still want us to wait for 30 minutes from 10:05. We asked the guy said that to us and he said: I NEVER SEEN YOU GUYS.
I can not stand for that and ask to meet a manager. They tried to say “What is the reason?” “They will say the same thing like us”. But we do not care. At last, a manager came out and said they close at 11PM and ask if we want to have a table or no. Well, she ask before 11 like 5,7 minutes. We do not need that so we tell her we need an apologize from the staff. She said no and ask to give us a free bowling instead. We dont care a free bowling, we want respect to customer from them so we said no and leave.
Today is March 9th 2024. This manager and staffs lied and tricked us to leave. If you guys do not want to work and leave early, at least tell customer to not wait for your lazy plan. We love Round1 but we will not accept something like this.
And for the black and curly hair staff, you know you definitely saw us. Thanks for destroying after 2 years meeting of us.
A fun place to play ended up winning something at the claw machine on my first try. Couldn't win after the first try🥲. The prices are a bit unreasonable, maybe lower them.
A fun family place, but bring lots of cash. $86 for 4 of us to bowl two games, plus an arcade card was $55. We had a blast. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Food is more like carnival food. So eat elsewhere. Umless
