This is such a cute place with an old-school interior. Almost everything is homemade, even the syrup! We tried the biscuits and gravy, chili omelet, and oven baked apple pancake. Everything was phenomenal! Staff is friendly and it has a homey atmosphere. Definitely worth the drive!❤️ This place is a hidden gem! Service was very friendly. The owner, Lynn, met us at the door and introduced himself, told us a bit about the cafe. The Norman Rockwell prints are great, and though the cafe is a recreation, it's consistent, cozy, and comfortable. It's more 'diner' than 'drive-in', so less chrome and more carnations. Which is great for a breakfast spot. The food was solid, the vegetarian skillet was very flavorful, and cooked to order. The biscuits were very moist, and the preserves very flavorful. The coffee was also good, the best version of 'diner coffee', but this isn't a custom espresso bar. Overall very pleased, and will return if we're back this way in the future. All I can say is “Wow!!” Rosie’s is exactly the kind of place that is the ideal “how it used to be” memory of beloved breakfast diners. The reality is that almost none of those old places are are truly as great as Rosie’s actually is…I could go on an on about decor and food and theme, which are spot on, but the truly great aspect is the actual experience. The owner, Mr Lowder (a wonderful man with an honorable resume as a Marine and a lawyer) chatted with our group for several minutes, sharing about the Rosie’s story, his motivations for opening the restaurant and a little about himself. He is such a genuine person and a gracious host. His employees were also just excellent. This was a random choice for breakfast and we are so grateful to have picked it. The food is fresh and excellent with very generous servings. If you are a bacon person (who isn’t?), then prepare for a next level experience! Try the bacon flapjack…wow! Please support this place, it is a small, veteran owned diner that honors our first responders and military in a nostalgic manner. Wanted to try this new to us breakfast place. We were greeted by the owner who was an absolute delight. He made some great recommendations on what to order. I preferred the banana pancakes and they were outstanding! The server said they taste just like banana bread and she was right, so delicious! My husband ordered corned beef hash & biscuits and gravy. He said the corned beef hash was perfection. The biscuits and gravy were very tasty as well. Service was great too. Love the diner atmosphere! We will definitely be back. Lynn and his staff are top notch. They accommodated our large family (10 kid/teens + 6 adults) with kind service and delicious food. The atmosphere feels like a warm small town diner. Biscuits & gravy and rainbow chip pancakes were some of the favorites. Everyone in our party left full and happy. Great experience, the owner welcomed us and brought me coffee. He is a veteran and we had a pleasant conversation about the restaurants small town feel. The food did taste like homemade food. The biscuits tasted like my grandmas recipe. The potatoes tasted like real potatoes not from the freezer. The omelette was a very generous portion. My husband said the corn beef was the best he has had. We both felt all of the staff were cheerful and kind.

First time here, and I really enjoyed everything about the place. Rosie's has only been open for about a year and they have shorter hours due to it being a diner from a "throw back era" motif. I immediately felt at home! The owner stopped by to introduce himself and ask about me, which was really nice. The menu leans more towards breakfast and that's what they are known for. But I chose from the lunch menu today and as I was looking at what they had, I noticed the cheese burger, plus a side of homemade chili....so I asked if they could make me a Chili Cheeseburger and they were happy to do it. It was delicious....it came with fries and I could tell they change the deep fryer oil often due to the fries tasting so fresh with not greasy aftertaste. I do plan on coming back for breakfast in the near future. Thank you to the staff and owner for making me feel like "home". Absolutely spectacular food and service. I'm a veteran and I appreciate all of the attention to detail and respect given to those that served here. While that may not resonate with everyone, the food and service will. Generous portions, delicious food and on the ball service made this my new favorite restaurant in Naperville! Came here by chance and so glad to have found it! Cool diner with a casual Americana vibe, friendly staff, tasty food, and GREAT coffee. We sat at the counter and really enjoyed it; met both the owners who were very amicable and enjoyed chatting with all the clientele. Veteran-owned, as noted, and you can immediately tell how much they care about their restaurant. A diner lives and dies by its coffee and I'm glad to say that the coffee here is excellent. It's served with heavy cream (awesome), and the whipped cream that I asked for with my pecan waffle is of the homemade, heavy cream variety. Absolutely delicious. Husband got the skillet, which received the thumbs up, with special marks given to how good the pancakes that came with it were. I found the pricing reasonable, and we got a pot of coffee with our mugs (AND a refill of it), so nothing bad to say there. Check this place out if you are looking for something new to try! We will definitely be coming back. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20
