If I could give Rocky's ten stars I would. The pizza, lasagna and salad are wonderful here, and the service is friendly and fun; but the real treat about Rocky's New York Pizza is the atmosphere. My boyfriend and I visit DHS often for the jacuzzis and weather, and make it a point each time to hit up Rocky's, and each of us have noticed walking in is like taking a step back in time, and to specifically America between 1981 and 1985. From the decor to the atmosphere to the prices, you almost think you're wandering in a Judge Reinhold movie. Pac-Man and other video arcade games -- all of them operational -- lurk in just the little nook in the place they should and always were, back then. The signage showing the menu and prices are complete Eighties-tier: emphasis prices. Rocky's owners seem unaware post-80's costs went up. Things still cost what they did then! The only thing I would change about Rocky's is the jukebox music selection: if they switched it to New Romantic and Big Eighties (Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, Heaven 17, etc), they'd be a National Landmark. This is the last Eighties-style restaurant in America. If you're heading to or through Palm Springs, stop in Desert Hot Springs and do NOT MISS this pizzeria. Wear your leather jacket, boys, or your Molly Ringwald porkpie hat, girls. I'm not joking. It ads to the experience. Put away your phone and forget you're in this decade. Rocky's will take you back in history. The last time I was there I almost cried. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I really enjoy this place but I gotta do this considering the place was closed 25 minutes early, I called multiple times (at least 5-6 times) and got no answer. Why have the hours say open till 9 if the staff won't keep it open at least for to go orders before they actually close? I even drove and showed up at 8:45 to try and get an order and I see a guy just mopping, so I knock since they should be opened. The guy just looks at me and shrugs, they know that they're still supposed to be open. There's some new lazy staff I suppose
