We Asked about the Harley Davidson merchandise they used to sell and guy at the counter said he could send us to Goodwill because that’s where it all came from. He was rude! Barely looked up from his phone to speak. When we said have a good day on the way out he made a face and didn’t even speak! We live 10 minutes away! Never again! GREATLY DISAPPOINTED!

Found this gem on a day trip from Winston Salem. Delightful spot and kind owner who shared the area's history. Clean bathrooms and treats to purchase inside!

We decided to go for a drive to look for this store and I am glad we did. Quaint little general store in the historic town of Rockford NC. Well worth the visit.

This place was so much cooler when the previous owners ran it. Nothing special now. When I went about eight years ago it was a wonderful place with lots of people and a local telling stories of the area. I bought several items including some candy then sat and listened to this man. I really loved it and talked about it to my family about. My mom and I decided to go and it was nothing like it was. All it is now is a glorified food stand with barely anything going for it. The cool tchotchkes and the entraining books about the area were absent as well as the local flare... the candy choices were dismal and their ice cream selection had four flavors. My mom and I left in disappointment. The whole area which seemed to be thriving all those years ago is non existent now. The previous owners made a huge mistake selling this place. The new ones are going to destroy it along with what used to be a beautiful community.

Have loved this place since my first visit. We try to go at least every 2 to 3 months. We got engaged here and will always be very special to us
