Fun, good metal music, great choice of drinks (partner had Rammstein rum, I had Ozzy osbourne gin)
We arrived very late afternoon/very early evening on a Friday and there was a metal band practice which was fun to watch. Met some nice people.
Fantastic place with fantastic staff and friendly clientele. We were visiting Norway from Ireland and made it our business to visit this bar from online recommendations, to which we were very pleased with the overall experience.
The staff recommended many local made drinks that, of course, we tried. We even bought patches that they had on sale there to add to our collections.
Finally, the music playing was not live music on the day of our visit but the playlist they had going was brilliant. 10/10 we would revisit this place on our next return to Norway. We might even make it a tradition.
Awesome bar, and quite cheap for Norway! A vodka and coke (40 ml) ended up being 110 NOK.
Music is great, and they sometimes have live bands available.
Highly recommend checking it out if in the area!
Rock In does exactly what it says on the (metal!) tin.... Rock, Metal, Beer and a little bit of Satan 😎 But in a good way - there is lots of love to good music and having a great time together in this place. Staff and audience are all lovely, and the beer is not terribly expensive (considering the music is free - at least when I visited).
Absolutely worth a recommendation - I will come back and visit again!! See you there?
It is a very good rock bar. And there are some delicious examples of Turkish food prepared by a very talented chef. I had the veggie wrap with mücver (Turkish veggie patties) and a mezze platter. They were all so good. Plus, there are plenty of different beer options that you can try.
Cool place! It’s a rock pub, with some goth vibes maybe it was the DJ that gave me that impression he played an amazing 80’s goth setlist so don’t expect “extreme metal” (specially black metal) music even though they’re have Helvete (now Neseblød) and Inferno banners! I had more fun here than at the other local metal pubs such Kniven/Vaterland (like them a lot as well). People are not much social but this is Norway, and I quite like it as well! Grab your beer and rock in! 🤘🏾
