Love, love, love this store; and think it is a SHAME that Marketplace might be cutting into its business. I, for one, do not find Marketplace cheap. I use to bag there, and was blown away by how much customers had to spend on so few items. Roaches has what the other place does not - great sales. They also have wonderful light weight, noise free baskets that are like pushing air. Most amazing are their bags - top notch reusable quality. Mktb ? - well theirs are just deplorable. Shopping at Roaches is a totally relaxing, stress free experience. So worth it if you have to pay a few extra bucks for that luxury. I actually ENJOY the experience of food shopping now. What else?? Great hot food buffet and salad bar and No Lines No waiting. They also as far as I know treat their help well. Mktb has the most absurd, no sense dress code for their staff imaginable. (No small stud earrings allowed in second pierced holes.). What??? They also discriminate big time against older workers.
I purchased an Amazon gift card for $500 at the supermarket. When I went to use it on Amazon, the gift card was already used. The manager is giving me the run around and they are refusing to give me my money or another card. Be careful buying gift cards here. There is a mole working there
Always love going there. It never seems to be a problem finding anything that is on my list (gotta have a list, or you quickly go over spending limits $)
As a first time customer, I was impressed by the selection and variety of produce and groceries! I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and their attention to detail! Will look forward to coming back when we are in town.
Lots of parking and other stores and restaurants. It's in a big strip mall.
I went there for the tasty chicken 🐔 wings.
They're awesome tasting. But I have noticed a little bit of a change to the hot meals they used to serve. I hadn't been there in quite awhile. I was in the neighborhood and gave it a shot. Like everything else now a day, change, change and change. I don't know if it was the covid, or the shots they had almost everyone get. People are more unfriendly than before.
