My husband and I came to celebrate my birthday on a Tuesday. It was our first time coming to The Gaylord and Riverwalk Cantina. It's beautiful inside! We walked around and made our way to Riverwalk Cantina. It was lunch hour so they were a little busy, wait time was about 10 mins but we didn't mind. We walked around and took pictures. Our server was very nice and attentive. We ordered the Parillada Ranchera, it was more than enough for my husband and I. We ended up taking leftovers home. Overall, I loved it. I love the atmosphere, friendly and fast service! Amazing experience! We will definitely come back when they do their buffets, I've heard it's amazing.

MUST EAT SPOT even if you aren’t staying at the hotel! Intensely fresh and vibrant tasting food with great service! Music is authentic and the sound of the river is so relaxing! The buffet is only open when there is enough hotel capacity but if more texas came to eat this Amazing food year round, it would’ve open more!!! The food is better than Hell’s Kitchen in LV! Y’all have to come eat here! Remember to have the waiter validate parking before leaving.

Riverwalk Cantina offers a satisfying buffet-style dining experience with a diverse selection of dishes that generally meet expectations. The quality of the food is commendable, especially considering the challenges often associated with buffet setups.
However, the experience is somewhat marred by the beverages, particularly the margaritas. Priced at $15, these drinks unfortunately fall short in terms of flavor and overall quality, detracting from the otherwise enjoyable meal. This aspect of the dining experience could certainly benefit from improvement to match the standard set by the food.

Had a great lunch experience here. Was concerned the only option was a buffet which I typically don’t like. It was fantastic. The selection as well as the quality of the food was good. We sat at the bar as it was very busy in the main seating due to the holidays and our server was great. Would recommend for a good lunch and solid margaritas!

Our server Delia was wonderful. She was the best waitress we have had in a very long time. The food was amazing as well. I had the LA Cantina omelette and it was delicious.

Everything about Riverwalk Cantina was great. From the food (French toast, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, & churro waffle) the service (Mina our waiter was very attentive & courtesy), and the atmosphere (really resembles the Riverwalk in San Antonio). If you’re ever in the Grapevine/Dallas area do yourself a favor and feel free to partake in a delicious breakfast here.

I ordered Enchiladas de Pollo and Street Corn with a Dr. Pepper. They provided chips and salsa. The chips had too much seasoning for my liking. I asked for my Enchiladas to be light on sauce, and I am glad I did because the taste of it was a bit strong on the flavor of it. I liked the rice more than the beans. The Street Corn was really good. Overall, I enjoyed my Enchiladas and Street Corn the most. We ate outside, and it was nice with all the colorful tables and butterfly art on the wall. The server was attentive and friendly. Thank you!

This review is for a breakfast buffet. So i was anxious when it is the only restaurant open for breakfast (this or room service) and the review was no good. However, it was much better than i was expected
The good ..
Lot of options for foods. There are classic breakfast like eggs, sausage, bacon and pancake. Also has cold cut, variety kind of cheese, breads fruits. and Mexican breakfast.
All food and nice and fresh. I am very happy with a quality of the food.
There is also an eggs station. A gentleman and a lady chef that works at the station are nice and friendly.
We went around 8a.m. and we get a tables right away no wait which is great.
The buffet includes all you can drink juices, tea, milkcand coffee
Lot of things to choose from
..
The bad...
Each group is assigned a server and if you get a bad server you are out of your luck. Our lady server that was assigned to us suck. She didn't give us any water or asked us if we want any drinks. We waited patiently for more than 20 minutes after we seated, no help no checking on us. We saw that she was chatting with another server at the other side of the restaurant.
Finally, another gentleman i believes name Juan came to rescue us. He brought us water and took a great care of us for the rest of the meal time.
The totals of a breakfast for 3 adults + 1 free baby includes tips was around $126. It is a bit pricey but it is the best and the most convenient option if you stay at the hotel.
I don't think that the price is ridiculous like other reviews. Also they already includes gratitude with the check so read your check carefully.
I would give it 5 stars if our first server does her job.and take care of us.

All the way around great experience, Food, service, and atmosphere. It is the most inexpensive but that isn't inexpensive by any means. All of Gaylord restaurants are pricey so be prepared for that. Ask to be seated in Danielle's section SHE IS OUTSTANDING!
