We stayed in St. Mary's GA January 2023. We are planning to spend a few days in St. Mary's again in February 2024. My wife and I agree that eating at Riverside Cafe as often as possible is a must. We both have traveled extensively for business and pleasure, this place is one of those places that you remember for years. I hope the young man waiter is still there. His service was impeccable. I never say service is impeccable, but his was that good! The food was hot and tasted like it should. We got appetizers and dessert. It was all excellent. Not what it used to be when I came here a few years ago. They used to have one of the best pasta dishes I have ever tried, but they have cut the menu in half and no longer serve what I like. Knew when we looked at menu things were mostly al a carte. Got lasagna for about $20. No side salad no garlic bread. She got crab cake salad. Basically a $20 salad with one little crab cake on it. Not even a pack of crackers to go with it. Service was ok at best. We won't be back. Better places to eat in near by kingsland. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30

Had the Moussaka. One word, “sublime”. Heard about the french fries being sooo good. We ordered one for the table. Very generous portion and outrageously good. Super crispy and had some sore of extra crunchy stuff on it. Will get both again. A real gem in this town. The other Greek dishes are also very good.
