I like everything about this place. The food, atmosphere, service, prices. The bathroom kind of sucks now that I think about it but that’s probably it. It is a local bar and grill so don’t get too excited. Try the chicken nachos but skip the lettuce and guacamole, sub nacho cheese for shredded, and get a pitcher. Your welcome. We had an excellent time. The staff are friendly and took great care of us. The enchiladas were traditional and tasty, L. had a slopper and was thought it worthy of being a 'Slopper Stop' beer selection was good, but not a wide range of choices on tap. The Riverside is the consumate "family " bar..meaning, they treat you like family when you're here. Laid back with a fun atmosphere. Don't miss the chicken fried steak on Thursday. They have great karaoke every Friday night with Ralph as the kj. They also have great fresh homemade Chicken Fried Steak every Thursday. Saturday night has some super good 'local ' bands also. $5 cover charge usually. Great food #1 green chili low priced drink's pool tables all around good bar in my book. Cool wall art even in the bathroom.....gotta stay safe lol!

Looks like a great bar to hang out at with older crowd and a couple bar sized pool tables, but I came for the slopper after reading reviews. It isn't the best in Colorado or even Pueblo as the burger is obviously frozen...but I was expecting more taste. Fresh meat shaped into a patty perhaps, then smother it...larger and thicker buns toasted would also help so it doesn't deflate when smothered. I raised my rating to 5 stars for atmosphere. Bar does comes before grill in the name for a reason. Check it out for drinks...not a lunch or dinner spot unless you're drinking. Small changes in the menu would make a huge difference.. prices are a bit steep for bar food at roughly $14 for most entrées. However, Colorado's restraunts have raised their prices by 24% in the last two years...the highest in the nation (Google it). Restraunts need to return menu's to normal as these menu items were probably 10-12 bucks in the past and inflation continues to cool. Came through town on our way home to Denver from Santa Fe and stopped at Riverside for a slopper. Our bartender was so kind and the sloppers were PERFECT! Also loved the patio space. Absolutely recommend—we’ll be back!
