I came to this quaint place after visiting Rising Creek Bakery. The location is good for Morgantown, WV but it is hard to see from the street. An outstanding place with great drinks. I needed a suggestion for a drink and was told the Brown Sugar Cinnamon latte would be a great choice by Myah. Apparently she has fun getting people addicted to this drink (just joking), but it is a great drink, and I will have one or two more today. If you are in the Star City area, or not, it is a great place to relax and enjoy your favorite coffee drink. I will spend my allowance/paycheck/bank account here! Bravo! This Suncrest Cafe is a gem to the neighborhood. The consistency of fresh, high quality ingredients is appreciated. I love the smoked salmon sandwich topped with red pickled onions and a delectable caper spread topped with fresh greens! The extensive coffee options are impressive with the daily featured special consistently great. Friendly, kind, attentive and conscientious service among the staff, also, very well nurtured by the gracious owner whose heart shines, humbly, through this labor of love. The well-cared for ambience in this impeccably clean and aesthetically enchanting space brings an uplifting quality for the Morgantown community. Family friendly, nice children's menu. Outstanding gelato with uniquely phenomenal flavors are decadent too! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Smoked salmon on salt rising was a fantastic sandwich. Ah fish. Angels of the open ocean. Spirits of the sweet salt sea.
Sausage gravy with house-made toasted salt rising bread and an over easy egg. Yummmm! Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I went there with my father for lunch a couple weeks ago. I loved the environment it was open and inviting. The staff were polite and patient. I ordered the tomato bisque and the berry salad with a salted caramel latte I loved the food it was delicious and it was done pretty quickly. They have good varieties and portions. My dad ordered the Italian wedding soup and a salad and loved it too he also had one of their sugar free coffees. The gelato was amazing we both ordered small cups my dad had white chocolate an I had red velvet. We both really enjoyed eating here and we be coming back soon

I was at the Morgantown location on 3/13/23 around 9am. I was not greeted by the girl behind the counter. She looked as if she was annoyed to be working. She took my order and then handed me my pastry. She never said “thank you, come again”. Her customer service makes me not want to return. The pastry was really good but she may need to work on her customer service skills. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $1–10
I mistakenly listed my review for the Mount Morris location, so I will correctly add a review here for the Morgantown location. I had the "tuna salad" croissant which was in no way a mixed tuna with dressing. It was room temp dark canned tuna poorly drained plopped on a croissant which quickly became soggy due to the tuna. No lettuce or dressing. I think there were a few chopped artichokes on it but I'm only guessing. Two bites of mac salad. Husbands' grilled cheese was plain tasting with no veggie additives listed to make it interesting, no dressing. Menu does not explain what goes into things, i.e. what would be in the "tuna salad", person at counter didn't know anything about menu items. Maybe they have other items that are good, I dont know, but my first and last time here.
Honestly, the best place in town for sandwiches (original salt bread) soups, and homemade ice cream. Their menu is affordable for a healthy still delish lunch. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10
