Holy smokes, was that some of the best food I have ever had! I got the Faro burger. It was cooked perfectly, and the toppings made the burger so tasty. The french fries it came with were probably the best from any restaurant I have ever had. They reminded me of the ones you get that are freshly sliced from the state fair. I also had both flavors of the lemonade. Strawberry and regular lemonade. I'd say it is freshly squeezed, so tasty! My brother had the ribs. He said they were the best ribs he'd ever had (which he has ribs a lot). The meat slid right off the bone. Also, I highly recommend getting their fried cheese cake. 10 out of 10, so so good. You will not regret eating at Rincon Del Faro!

We went on a Monday so it was not very busy which was nice. The servers could have been a bit more attentive as when it came time to ask for the bill and then pay the bill that took a little longer than it should have. Food was amazing!!! Such big portions. Had the seafood soup and chicken mofongo and would happily go back again

Now for the food...
We were brought here by our tour guides around 4 PM after we were told to place our orders around noon. We all ordered cheeseburgers, but shortly after we got in we were told they did not have burgers.
We ordered vegetable tacos (which was boiled frozen vegetables like broccoli and carrots in a taco shell), chicken wings (deep fried chicken in heavy batter), some kind of steak (edible but barely), grilled chicken (mostly flavorless and a bit dry) with salad (inedible dry lettuce), mozzarella sticks, rice and beans (plain rice and canned beans), and pasta with just butter (which was pasta drowned in melted butter with pieces of boiled chicken for some reason). All of the food was mediocre at best, and definitely lacked flavor. All the dishes were fairly large, as I guess the more mediocre food the better?
The service was fine, although the waiters did seem disinterested. The utensils were plastic, but, in good news, it was possible to cut the steak with a plastic knife.
We managed to eat within an hour because we had a limited amount of time with our tour.
There is absolutely no way we would come eat here again. On the bright side, nobody got sick from the food, so I guess it's safe to eat here.

The portions are huge here. Don’t make our mistake and over-order 😅. Asopao is enough to share between two people, pasta is huge and very cheesy. Ceviche appetizer was good too.

Yelp and Google sent us to the restaurant an hour early (they opened at noon Sunday), but we didn't mind the wait because it was SO good! The food, the service, the drinks; everything was to die for. We ordered the stuffed lobster and didn't realize just how stuffed it was. It turns out that it was insanely stuffed with all the seafood on top of the lobster. We made the mistake of ordering appetizers thinking it was going to be on the smaller side, even with a 3.5 lb lobster. We got so full we couldn't even finish the meal. The fried calamari was great, but again, the fresh calamari in the lobster was insanely good. I would have gone without had a I realized the size. The turnovers (empanadas, samosas, whatever they may be called) are great. We did one beef and one chicken. You won't be disappointed. The lobster itself was the main show though with calamari, clams, shrimp, octopus, and conch. Sooooo good with the garlic butter sauce. The drinks were also tasty! The pina colada was legit! The price may seem expensive, but you are getting sooo much food that it is worth every penny. I felt so awful not getting the rest to go, but we were so full and were at the beach so we couldn't take it home. Lastly, the service was perfect and welcoming. There are chickens and cats that roam around too while you eat and drink, but the employees are good about cleaning chicken poop. He came back often to top off drinks and make sure all was well. It is such an amazing place we would come back again!

I don't ever leave reviews, but we had a really disappointing experience here. Like others said, the service is slower but that was fine and wasn't the problem. The wait staff were friendly overall to start. Our problem was finding a hair in our food and the service that followed. We told the wait staff and they didn't offer to do anything about it. I didn't want to argue about not paying for it, and didn't feel comfortable. But in any other restaurant I've been to they would have at least offered to remove the meal from the bill or something. I found the hair after I was almost done and was so grossed out.
Regardless of the hair the meal itself was not very good. I ate it because we had kayaking scheduled after. My brother didn't bother eating most of his. The chicken was dry and I wish the menu mentioned the yellow rice has pork in it. I wasn't aware of that and don't eat pork. I didn't find out until later when I looked it up online. That is my own ignorance, of course, but I wish it would have been listed on the menu under the item.
Overall, I don't think the food is worth the price, regardless of the hair. But the service that followed was very disappointing so I do not recommend this.

Great restaurant & great service! Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable. The food was amazing! We were a group of 7. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. We ordered the paella for 2, mofongo with chicken, mofongo with meat and a burger. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate molten cake, the flan de queso and cheesecake and they were all delicious! The lemonade was “homemade”. The restaurant & bathrooms were clean, music wasn’t too loud or inappropriate for a “family restaurant” and prices were reasonable.
I would definitely come back when I’m in the area again!
Oh, There are some friendly cats roaming the outdoor area so if you aren’t fond of cute cats, you can sit inside the restaurant. Don’t let that stop you!

This place was a great discovery of our trip. The service was amazing. The portions are huge and fairly priced. I think I tried all the Mofongos, but when we ordered the fish of the day, we were astounded. A trully masterful work by a classicaly trained chef (that's butter, a lot of butter and perfectly done sauces), combined with fresh fish and a good sense for local cuisine, great job. Respect.

Amazing dinner - strong and flavorful margaritas, beautiful outdoor seating, and the most delicious food we’ve had this week in PR. Fish taco appetizer was enough for a full meal, but you must also have some sweet fried plantains (amarillo) as well as the Queso Frito with guava sauce. Wish I had enough room for Tres Leches but I was stuffed!
