Had a previously okay experience here months ago but went for brunch today - it was delicious! I think they must have just been working out some kinks of being a new restaurant before! I would encourage everyone to give this place a chance.
My husband had the eggs Benedict and said it was really good. I had the breakfast burrito and it’s one of the best I’ve had. Real pork green chili and some really amazing breakfast potatoes. We will be back!

The jalapeño chicken pizza was excellent !
The manager Mike came over and checked if everything was ok. You don’t see that happen much theses days. In order to speak with managers in an establishment you have to ask to, because there's something wrong.

Italian Beef Sandwich
Perfect little place, quaint yet vibrant. What absolutely sold me on the establishment however was the staff. I believe the person tending the bars name was Sarah, she was attentive fast and didn’t miss a beat but still made it a point to make small talk and keep my glass full. I adored her and atop the great quality food and excellent service she is definitely the reason I’ll be coming back.

I love the atmosphere here! Sarah is a great bartender on top of getting our drinks filled and upbeat. I wasn’t sure what drink I wanted and she suggested something great. Also the ahi tuna is incredible! I will definitely be returning when Sarah is working ❤️

Have gone here for some time and enjoyed it. Recently got a sausage pizza that just tasted…bad? In the past it was crumbled sausage, this time sliced, but that isn’t a negative to me. The sausage was burnt but the pizza itself was undercooked and just did not taste normal.
Everyone has their off nights but definitely very disappointed as we thought we’d found our go to pizza spot. I’d go back but likely not get pizza, although that’s all I’ve ever gotten to this point. There was almost a freezer-burn taste.
UPDATE TO OWNER RESPONSE: Hi, I appreciate the feedback and am glad it went back to crumbled. I must say, that was NOT the only issue. The pizza itself tasted off like either the cheese, dough, or a main ingredient was off. It did not taste good, even if it was just a Cheese pizza. Prior to this, I've enjoyed every pizza I had there.
We ate here for the first time last week. Service was very good, food presentation was also good but flavor was just okay (pretzel bites app, tuna and Cobb salad), drink was very good but a small serving with too much ice. The chocolate sundae was just vanilla ice cream with what appeared to be Hershey's chocolate syrup. Nice atmosphere so we will try it again and try different entrees.

We had the itailian beef. Being from Chicago we were very disappointed.
the only thing that resembles an Itailian beef was the Gardinera. The Roll was a horrible choice.
The beef meat had no flavor.
The gravey was plan AuJus.
For $16 I suggest trying something else.
Maybe the pizza, but if it is thin crust it ain't Chicago pizza.

I went to Ridgehill Tavern with some friends and family this week. Overall, I was incredibly impressed. From all the small details to the timely service, this place is a must-visit! The food was spot on. Best appetizers I’ve ever tried! We had the Meatballs and the Potstickers and I was very pleased. The high quality food, vibrant atmosphere, and accessible location make Ridgehill Tavern my new favorite local eatery.
