Our son, his wife, and children moved to the area in December (from Philadelphia, Pa). We flew in for a visit & they INSISTED we have dinner at one of their favorite places, "Rey's". This place did not disappoint and EXCEEDED our expectations! From the staff who were happy to see us, to the DELICIOUS food, and WOW the dessert! You simply have to have the churro dessert! It was the best dessert I had in my entire life of 50yrs. I am from Philadelphia & have access to the best restaurants. This place beats all Mexican restaurants. 100%. We will be back! This would have to be one of my favorite restaurants in Cookeville. The staff is always so kind and welcoming. The food is great and they have premium steak which makes it even better. My server Emily is one of the best and she makes the best drinks as well! Her service was incredible! I would 10/10 recommend this restaurant! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
