My reviews comes from a first time experience eating South Indian food!
Everything was really good with lost of different tastes! The only thing I would skip would be the pani puri. They were just not that interesting compared to the rest.
The best thing was probably the cow kerala ( cow curry ), unlike any curry I've had before! It paired amazingly with the Kerala Parota (the bread), which was a staff sugestion
The service is fast and the staff are very polite and welcome! It feels like a genuine experience you would get eating in a nice place in India.
Just keep in mind that they don't speak portuguese.
The prices are a bit high, since with 2 starters and 2 plates for 2 people it was 43.50. But considering there aren't many options like this, it is fine.

Once you enter, you're welcomed with a genuine warm smile and the food leaves you with the same feeling of being at home and well catered to. The service makes you feel at ease.
We chose a Masala Dosa, one of the best we ever had. And by their recommendation, we discovered Chemmeen which was a dish we never tasted before. You can ask them less or more spicy and they will adjust, like they did for us. And it was perfect. They have plenty vegetarian options.
I highly recommend you to ask them directly for recommendations because South Indian food is not well known from our European part of the world.
We came from Brussels knowing about this restaurant, so our expectations were high. And yet, they delivered beyond.
Thank you again, and we hope that we will come back on another trip to Porto to taste the delicious food.
PS: they have an event next week, on the 17th September

AVOID! The food was very tasty, but I was vomiting and violently ill for the next 24h after eating the lamb curry here. It was not prepared safely! 🤮
EDIT: In reply to the owner's response below, this did happen a few months ago. I was just reminded that I wanted to leave this review, when I was in the area again. I know it was the lamb because my wife and daughter had shrimp curry and did not get sick. We ate at no other restaurants that day.

I ordered: pani puri and chicken curry. The curry an chapati were really good. The pani puri was okay, refreshing but I expected a bit better as it's one of my favorite food.

The best Indian restaurant in Porto 🇮🇳🇵🇹. The people are very friendly and I highly recommend it. The tea and pani puri I had tried were very tasty and doose was like home made. The ambience was so good and the restaurant was so clean. Please visit here for best Indian Food 😋.
We were craving for eating South Indian food after being on the Portugal trip for over 10 days . We were so happy to find this place in porto . quality and quantity of the food can be improved . Salt was less on sambar , dosa tasted sweet ( batter may not be fully fermented ), portions of appetizers were very small . Masala chai was good . Serving person was very nice and attentive . You can give a try if you are in the area and craving for South Indian food .
