About
After you have seen Estatuas da Ponte, come to this restaurant. Serra de Estrela specializes in Portuguese cuisine. Perfectly cooked duck, amuse bouches and monkfish may be what you need. The chef at this place cooks good queijada. Here you may drink good wine. It's easy to find this spot due to its convenient location. The success of this restaurant would be impossible without the cheerful waitstaff. Professional service is something guests agree upon here. Prices at Serra de Estrela deserve attention because they're democratic. You will certainly like the spectacular ambiance and terrific decor. But this place has been rated below average by Google.

Delicious lunch in a very charming and authentic location! We had the salmon, rice with duck and pork, all were delicious and topped off with leite de creme for desert. Loved the architecture and the respect and care for the restaurant and for the patrons by the owner and staff. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €15–20 Recommended dishes Grilled Fish

A nice surprise! A cozy and comfortable place with healthy food choices and a helpful, friendly waiter. The best service we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Excellent service & cleanliness. We had a very friendly waiter who helped us with our poor Portuguese. We had the fish dishes & they were really delicious!

Quite bad service, the older man who is waiter was not interested at all. But 3 stars since my dish was quite tasty, however prices bit high for what you get.
Not very elegant but tasty genuine Portuguese food for a very reasonable price. I had a dish made of broad beans and various pieces of pork.

You won't starve but you won't crave to return either. We had the francesinha which was ok and the Portuguese filet that was just a steak (dull and flavorless) with potatoes and some greens. No sauce, no egg ... Most of the malls of the country have this restaurant, maybe we didn't have luck in this one.

We had a lovely seafood lunch; grilled fish and a fish pie. Their care of hygiene is exceptional and the server was really helpful and friendly (even taught us a few handy Portuguese words!)
I ordered two sets and paid by card. There was an "approved" message on the terminal, but no check was issued. The seller said the payment was unsuccessful and refused us the service. Further proceedings didn't lead to anything (contacting the Bank, communicating with the Manager, requesting a card statement). Next day the money was debited from the card. They have a non-working payment terminal.

We were in a hurry and made the mistake of eating here. Food is super overpriced and they charge you for everything... even the finger foods they give you without even asking. Service was terrible, took over 45 minutes to get our food. The food was also terribly bland. Avoid at all cost!
