Very clean place inside & outside, well arranged where they serve you a variety of dishes. I stopped here for the pupusas which is my favorite Salvadorian dish. The people tending the place were amicable & welcoming and had a very positive vibe to them. I ordered a pair of pupusas along with two Pacifico beers and it was very satisfying after a long day of driving. Mendota California rules! I had really low expectations when I walked into this restaurant. The chips were kinda stale, and the salsa kinda bland. But I was pleasantly surprised that my wet Carne Asada, and shrimp Burrito was actually really good. . The red sauce on top was just the right amount of spice. Not too hot to eat, but just the right amount of spice to make your mouth tingle.
