After visiting the Forte De Sao Filipe, we were walking back to the town center and came upon Dom Peppone Pizzeria on Av. Luisa Todi. The restaurant looked very inviting.
We ordered a Caprese Salad (€7.60), a large Margarita Pizza (€14,50), and 1 Liter of Sangaria (€11.00).
The Caprese was fresh and delicious. The Margarita Pizza was one the best margaritas we've ever had. The Sangaria had plenty of fruit and was tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. If we come back to Setubal, we will definitely visit Dom Peppone again.

We have eaten at their new location (on Luisa Todi) twice because we love their pizza (and we can eat outside with our dog.) We highly recommend their mixed salad, pizza and pasta bolognese. YUM! I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere as they could continue to beautify their outdoor space. And maybe add a heat lamp or some weather protection. We will be back!

We came here for lunch today. There are actually two locations right near each other. Very little English spoken here and that was okay. We were able to get by without an issue. The caprese salad was great, I suggest trying it and sharing. I had the chicken lasagna and I enjoyed it with lots of melted cheese freshly baked. Just fyi, the chicken is shredded not cubed. My partner had the Bolognese and it was very good. All in all, a great experience.

Very good pizza and Sangria! Nice rooftop to sit and enjoy your lunch. When you are standing you see the Sao Felippe fort and the ocean.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Setúbal and the only one I've found that has a plain, authentic pomodoro sauce. Even though I typically order bolognese, my wife prefers a simple pomodoro or marinara.
Place has a family friendly atmosphere and nice staff. Every time we've been there, a lot of the tables are filled with families with all ages joining them.
We've tried both locations, and both times everything was top notch.
The garlic cheesy bread is great, and both of the pizzas we tried were both scrumptious with very tasty topping combinations. We also had the lasagna bolognese, and it was bubbling hot and deliciously cheesy. The tiramisu was creamy and had a nice coffee kick to it.
Service is always friendly and the prices are very fair.

They moved us outside because it was hot even though we were a big group, thus a great service. The pizza's and pasta's tasted great and were not too expensive. The waiter was also fluid in Dutch, which was very helpful. They didn't have enough of some certain dessert for eveyone who wanted but that was not a big problem.
