Very much recommended! Delicious Arroz de Sarrabulho with pork giblet. 1 portion is enough for 2! Come early, very crowded, might have to queue. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great traditional Restaurant, by the river and very close to the village centre. You can only reserve on same day and during the week nobody answers the phone. The food comes in big portions (one portion is for two people, otherwise order half portion). The traditional "arroz de sarrabulho" (Rice in pig's blood and meat) is very good. The service could be better. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €10–15 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
Great food, great wine, good service. The problem is the wait. We’ve waited 2h30 for a table and we’re pretty sure some people skipped the queue and went in ahead of us. If it wasn’t for the long drive to go there, we would have gone somewhere else.

Delicious "arroz de serrabulho" with "rojões". The regional wine and the pudding was also very good! Large portions with a good value for money! A must go restaurant when visiting Ponte de Lima!

We've been coming here for 20+ years and quality has been consistent. Specialty is sarrabulho but I'm not a fan. We love the filetes de pescada and bacalhau with mashed potatoes and mayo. Enormous portions! Can get very busy from 12.30 pm. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Food was good and not expensive. Well worth the drive from Porto. A comida é boa e não é cara. Vale a pena a viagem do Porto a Ponte de Lima. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Their breaded pork special (pork schnitzel) was very tasty and at 6 Euro very cheap. It was easily enough for two light eaters like us. Slow cooked pork also tasty. No room for desert.
Crazy deal... stop little money for so much food.... good food... nothing extra special but good.... order only the half of you usual choice... you will be staffed anyway
Comfortable old fashioned, delicious traditional meals and friendly service, a local family owned restaurant for lunch and dinner, indoors and out, with reasonable prices, next to the river.
