Food is tasty & suitable for those who can't eat numbing spicy dishes.
While the signature dish here is the herbal crab soup, other dishes like its steamed fish with fried minced radish & stir fried vegetables with bamboo clams are good too.
Prices are also reasonable at this new village restaurant in Juru which is quite spacious & clean. Go early to get a good parking spot.

The signature herbal flower crab is very good, must try, only con is slight salty. Shop authentic recipes such as: steamed prawn with pork belly and mix vegetables which recommended by owner are very delicious too! Worth to come again

Herbal Flower Crab Soup
Juru, Penang, Malaysia. Just happen to be in north south highway with nowhere to go for dinner after the Juru Toll and decided to try out this shop. The seafood is fresh and delicious with reasonable priced.

Saw this in tiktok recommendations.
Here are my 2cents worth of this shop.
First of all the journey to go there will be troublesome as the road is always jam. From Juru to that place traffic was horrible.
The venue itself is not airconditioned. Its quite hot so children might not be able to stand it
Then for the food. Price wise was ok but tastewise is another thing.
Tried thier flowerhorn crab soup- Nothing to shout about..Just a herbal soup with some crab taste only.Quite salty and they give you a wooden mallet to smash the crabs?!
1kg for RM120.
Tried the steam egg, with prawns and 3 layered pork.Tasted way too salty!!!Its like the chef dropped a whole bottle of salt inside.
Good way to get hypertension if you are planning to get it.
The taucheong potatoleave vegetables was ok

A local recommended this restaurant while I was driving on NSE after Bukit Merah for dinner. We consist of 3 adults and 2 small children. Easy to find but took a long time to reach as it was after office hours with many heavy vehicles. Limited parking and after a downfall lots of puddles of water making finding a parking more difficult. We ask the captain to recommend, he blurted out their signature crab in herbal soup. Since we are not into flower crabs, we follow his recommendation for steam egg with prawn and kau yoke, stir fries 8 types of Vege and butter milk mantis prawn. The vege was good especially the fried fuchuk very crispy. The prawn was equally good although it could have added more egg yolk flowers. The dish is considered spicy with the curry leaves. Although the steam egg was good, the canned kau yoke flavour overpower the egg. The prawn was big enough and fresh. This dish does not reflect the cook skill but becomes a simple dish when using canned meat.
Bills come to RM82 with drinks, reasonable. This restaurant is old but spacious, typical of kampung tai chow.
Might not come back due to the terrible traffic congestion which added 2 hours plus into our drive back to hometown.

Crab Soup with Kee Chee and Dates
I was introduced to the herbal crab claypot soup at Juru, Penang by a friend, and it was a true gem. The aroma of the herbal broth filled the air as it arrived at our table. The fresh crab and flavorful broth with its rich umami taste won me over—I absolutely love it! If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend giving it a go. You won't be disappointed!
Herbal crab (especially the soup) and the Ginger lala was amazing, but the rest of the dishes were mediocre.
