Spent the weekend in nearby Robertson and decided my girlfriend and I needed to visit this restaurant having heard about Chef Werner Snoeks culinary flair.
What a fantastic spot, sadly we were having dinner so couldn't experience the succulent gardens as it was dark and welcome rain arrived to cool the air.
Welcomed with a complimentary glass of Graham Beck Brut MCC and seated in the small intimate restaurant.
The waiters are super friendly, knowledgeable, well trained, attentive and offer impeccable service.
Chef Werner came out of the kitchen to introduce himself and personally deliver his complimentary taste bud tantalizer to start the evening off.
The food is culinary art and an explosion of taste in the mouth.
Well priced and can match and exceed many top CapeTown establishments. I rate this 9.5 / 10
Well worth the visit, Booking essential.
Thank you to Chef Werner and your amazing staff, a magical experience.
We had a great experience at the restaurant! Very friendly and great service. The food is amazing as well.
When you are finished, the chef passes by to ask if you had great experience.
Would definitely recommend!
This restaurant is a little gem on the outskirts of Robertson. Food to die for and the wine list from local producers pairs brilliantly with the food.
We visit SA once a year from UK and a visit to this restaurant is always a highlight of our trip.

Chef Werner makes spectacular food - concise menu, excellent value for money. What a brilliant surprise of an evening. If you're in Robertson then visiting this hidden gem is a must.
Stunning setting accompanied by stunning food and service. We have been staying in the area for a while and the dining experience at Succulent surpassed all others by a mile. The food is reasonably priced but will rival any Cape Town fine dining restaurant, we had such a special lunch. Thanks to all the staff for looking after us so well - our guests from the UK were delighted with everything. Deserves a 5* plus!
We went here for a good friend’s birthday. It was a superb experience - the food and service is truly first class. The gardens - a nurture succulent garden - is lovely to walk around, and they have boule pitches if that is your thing. Can not recommend enough - it’s better than any wine farms in the area, and as good as the best in the western cape. Wonderful!
What an amazing restaurant with wonderful owner and staff. The food was incredible for both dinner and breakfast! Such attention to detail. Chef Werner and his wife Melanie really go that extra mile. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back :) I highly recommend this beautiful place :)
