There are many coffee shops in and around Taiping, Prima being one of the more popular ones due to popularity of some of the stalls here. I've had alfresco dining in the evenings as well, but since the pandemic struck, that's been taken off. Parking is not quite easy, but a few rounds should get you a spot quite near to the place. It's located along the busy Jalan Kota, which is Taiping's main thoroughfare and is just a short walk away from the museum and the famous lake gardens. Some of the offerings here are more popular than others, namely the Chicken Rice, the Wantan Mee, The Nasi Lemak and also you can get some Chinese rice dumplings here (369) which is quite famous. It's quite a large coffee shop by regular standards and so seating is never really a problem. You are assured of a cheap and delicious meal here while doing your sightseeing!

Cooling outdoor food haven for food lover especially at night. Reasonable price, great food, many choices. Unless you have a big group of people to order and try out all varieties, you will need a few visits to finish tasting all the food!

Dropping by during dinner time, I wanted to try Sam's chicken rice but they were closed. So I tried the next best thing, char kuey teow. Char kuey teow was a bit sweet for my liking. Didn't have the char kuey teow taste, also lacked of pepper. Egg was a little runny for those who like their eggs like that. Prawns were fresh but the cockles weren't. If you'd asked me if I'd order it again. I wouldn't because it's a little sweet for a char kuey teow. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 1–20
