My husband and I had escargot gratine and escargot with mushrooms. Very tasty, however the snails were rather small. We followed with the steamed Berber lamb for 2. 98 dinar. Served with mixed vegetables and two small potatoes. Lamb was somewhat flavorless but serving was copious for two Our 9 year old daughter had a small grilled beef steak with fries at the suggestion of the waiter. The three of us enjoyed the ambiance of the place. The waiter was very attendant and spoke English (and 4 other languages) . Overall good experience. . We had a lovely evening meal which came to around 200 TD, well worth the money! The white wine recommended by the waiter was beautiful as was the restaurant itself. We had two starters as well as our two main meals to which I would highly recommended the filet steak and the beef with smoked salmon. Waiters were also amazing and very attentive. We had the Mezza Fruits de Mers. Octopus/calamari and prawns with a bottle of the Phenicia chardonnay wine. An excellent lunch. We returned again on Sunday and they produced another superb meal even though there was a power cut in town. This is a hidden gem! It was also the best steak we've ever had and one of the cheapest! Beautiful restaurant, great service. We went for my birthday but will be going back before we leave. After the disappointment of dining in a few restaurants in Sousse, I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this restaurant. Everything we had at this restaurant was appetizing starting from the butter that we were served with some bread. We ordered the chateaubriand which was absolutely delicious (highly recommended) and my husband had escargot and was quite satisfied. I definitely would go back to this restaurant. We had a really wonderful meal here which was opposite the Marriott Hotel where we were staying. We had heard it was excellent so decided to try it on our last night. We wished we had eaten there before our last night so we could have gone more then once! Fabulous aesthetics, like a museum, so interesting, just like the owner who took the time to chat to us about the restaurant & all the magical artefacts within it.
