The pork fried rice was rich in flavor, but a bit greasy. I guess it comes from the pork fat.
The house specially fish was great.
I think it is roger fish deep fried and served with thick gravy. I tried this before somewhere but the gravy was more watery than this one. I think it is made of soy and black been. Whatever it is, it is a must try.
I thought the fish was a bit overpriced considering it was unknown, but the taste made up for it.

Family business. Always full house on weekends when I drove past by. Decided to patron on a weekday for dinner. We had the signature fish, fish maw soup & oyster omelette. Dishes abit more oily & salty to our preferences. Generally price also on the high side compared to other restaurants at Kuantan Town, about Rm40/pax. Regarding parking, a private parking available for customers at the back alley.

Fish Maw Soup
Arguably best meal we had in Kuantan, a very old school eatery. With the boss manning the kitchen himself, you know foods gonna be good. Fried fish is a must, we got the ma yao fish, fried to absolute crispiness with special black sauce, which isn’t as salty as it looks, yet so flavourful. Oyster omelette is fresh and crispy which beats most of other famous stalls in Penang or klang valley. Best part, price is super reasonable. Definitely going to return when we visit Kuantan again. Highly recommended to try

Oyster Omelette
The price is reasonable, and the food is good, but it might have a long waiting time on the weekend, you can call to book if you want to order in advance.
Here are some of the dishes you can order :
1. Red wine chicken (红酒鸡)
2. Yam pork slices (芋头扣肉)
3. 咸菜豆腐汤
4. Steam fish 蒸鱼

Very friendly service and the food is tasty. They are know for their lala dish and their salted egg spring. The oyster omelette is good too. They have an interesting veggie dish stir fried tauge with bitter gourd. I don't like both veggies but my sisters and mom says the combination is good.
Recommended by a friend. Overall the chinese food is good. They don't have a menu and you can show the owner photos and what you would like to eat.
The fried fish with black sauce topping was good. Not salty, crunchy and tasty. Their salted egg squid was good too. The hot and sour fish maw was too spicy for out liking. The sweet & sour chicken not so to our liking. Chicken was not crunchy and lack of a bit of taste. Only can rate 4 star as the other 2 dishes were so so. Will be back to tried their fried rice and fried wok noodles as I can see its recommended as well.
Best to go early, we waited for about 30-45 mins for our food. We arrived about 6 ish. Waiting time can be long, best to be patient. Parking is okay I guess if you're early too. This is probably a good and affordable place to get Chinese food for lunch or dinner in kuantan.

A family operated Foochow restaurant. Two sons and the matriarch cook up a storm in the kitchen. The signature deep fried fish with special sauce is very special. The fish is crispy, and doesn't feel oily. The sauce is delicious. Pork belly with salted fish, oyster omelette, and red wine chicken are also good.
Family run eatery. Good food. Reasonable pricing. Seafood done right everytime we order. Friendly owner. Has snow beer.

Food were delicious. The fruit juices were equally yummy at great prices. I had the pineapple with sour plum neat. A must-try! Their specialty of deep-fried fish, fish maw soup, oyster omelette egg were all great! Great Chinese restaurant in Kuantan
