The first time I went to “El Buen Cafe” in Hatillo, PR I had coffee and pastry. Today I actually sat with my husband and ate. Food is delicious. Highly recommend it. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The place was dead empty and somehow it still took them more then 40 minutes to bring us our food. Tostones were old, cold, flat and taste like cardboard. Food lacked flavor and there red kidney beans were watery & didn’t taste like anything. Food was not any good and definitely not worth the high cost. We had great breakfast! The waitress was very nice. It took a while to get the drinks and the food since the place was packed. The food was delicious. The chai tea was very sweet and delicious. This was the only place that I was able to get a regular tea in Puerto Rico! 😃 There is plenty of parking available. 1st time visit. Place is pretty big. Got a good parking spot. When enter We was Greeted 🙂 We sat at the back. It was kinda hot. So we switch tables. Service wasn't bad. Place was packed. We waited half hour for food. Food was good 👍🏽 took pictures...but will post after. Most of the food was very good. The chicken soup was absolutely awful and our waitress really had a very dry sense of humor. Prices were a bit on the high side. Again, it’s all about the customer service experience. Would I return? Won’t be my first choice.

I was not crazy about the place. The service was really slow. They served us our meal one at a time slowly. Leaving maybe seven or longer minutes in between each person.By the time the last was served. The first person had finished there meals. Yes it was that low. I had the Mofongo. It was a little dry. It was OK. The place had a lot of flies inside.
