El Pescador is so fun! Incredible food and fun atmosphere. Even had live music (a keyboard - shout out to Tony!). We tried to eat here two nights in a row, but they were full the next night. Will be back next year!

This restaurant is cute and fun, but service was just miserably slow. Food was not worth the price and sitting there for 2 hours. Half our table's food came 30 minutes later than the other, so we had to sit and watch each other eat . Go somewhere else!

Hard to ask for the owner when you can barely get the server's attention just to get water or to even pay for the food. I had no problem with the mandatory tip, but maybe that's part of the problem with the motivation of the service.
Just thinking ahead through what people need would help with the service....the lack of water refilling , for example some solutions : have bigger water cups so people don't need refills/ automatically bring water to the table for all when you greet guests/ bring a pitcher or flip top cold water jug for people to refill their own.
Maybe you could do just counter service instead of table service? Then pay your staff a lot more and not have to worry with all the running around and tips

Get there at opening for a short wait, good table, and the pick of the menu. Servers were awesome folks and service was fast. My wife really enjoyed the whole yellowtail she ordered and she ended up eating my ceviche. The fish was ok but the ceviche was mostly onions & orange peppers. The fish, which I thought should have been chunks, was a mash of slimy innards and trimmings. Hardly chunks of fish. Mojito was excellent. I'd go back to try something else.

This place looks like an old shack from the street but it's a great restaurant with a casual atmosphere, great food and the best service on Puerto Rico. Drove nearly 2 hours to get there and worth every mile.
