My wife and I had a pretty good experience with our breakfast at Renos this morning. The place is pretty old but it has charm. Our waiter was a young man that seemed as though he was in training but he was extremely polite. The food arrived and was incrediblly delicious and plentiful. I ordered the skillet and my wife had the two egg meal. We particularly enjoyed the potatoes and the way they were seasoned. As we were heading out, we had a lovely conversation with the lady whom I presume is the owner. Such a very warm and friendly presence. If you want a hole-in-the-wall, mom and pop diner experience, give this place a chance. This is not the place to go if you're in a hurry, but if you want to enjoy the company of your friends and family while you wait awhile for your meal, you won't regret it. Delicious food, quick and friendly service! Very old school and quaint. A perfect diner for a rain Saturday morning. We talked with our waitress Ray throughout our entire visit there and loved every second of it. We can't wait to go back!! I lived in Crofton for 15 years and moved to Edgewater 2 years ago. Passed by this place hundreds of times and dismissed it for no real reason, just was always there. Decided to go on a whim because we were just in the area and wanted breakfast, and I truly, wholeheartedly regret not coming here for so long. The atmosphere was almost out of a diner scene in a classic movie; well-traveled, cozy, and a place to remember. Our server was very attentive and friendly, our food came quickly, and it was absolutely delicious. I had the French toast waffle with home fries, and I would come back every week just for that bit of heaven topped with strawberries. Do not pass by Reno's like I did, go get some amazing breakfast!! Great spot for breakfast with a time stood still oldschool atmosphere. Clocks on the walls and grandma's house vibe with reasonably priced food and great service. Have you ever sat down to watch a movie you had no intention of paying attention too and you ended up loving every minute of it? Same here. I had middling expectations of this place but wow. I was very surprised with how I felt coming out of this. The food is great, the atmosphere is relaxed, the people are helpful and kind. This was a great place to be. I loved the quaintness of this little diner. The food that is offered ranges from some breakfast foods (eggs, pancakes, etc) to burgers, chicken tenders, steak, and more. I was skeptical to try this place out initially because there was no information about the menu. But, based off the previous reviews putting this diner at 4.6 stars made me decide to just wing it! We sat down at a corner booth. The benches are comfortable. If you’re looking for large portions, this is not the place for you. But the portions are perfectly portioned in my opinion as I tend to overeat haha. I ordered a cheeseburger. The ladies here were very attentive and made sure my burger came out perfectly as I despise any pink. It was pretty tasty. They didn’t have lemonade to my dismay but to the rest of my party, one of the ladies made a fresh batch of tea :). They accept visa and MasterCard via square reader. That’s a bonus :) In my honest opinion, it’s decent food for a decent price. But if what you’re looking for is the flavor, this place isn’t exactly top notch but they are comfort food. The place is pretty cute and the service is really phenomenal.

We walked in and a regular customer went in the back to get "Mom" to take our order. She was not friendly at all and was as if us ordering inconvenienced her. I started telling her that it was our 1st time here, mid sentence she walked away and could care less. I guess "Pop" was on the grill as we read it was a "Mom and Pop" place. Food was reasonably priced and tasted as if cooked at home by mom. All considered we will not be back to this place. I wish them the best but personality goes a lot farther than anything with me.
