What a disappointment! I've come here in the past in many occasions. It was my #1 stop when visiting the island but I can honestly say that is not the case any more. The food is 100% not the same. The masitas de pollo can't be eaten, they don't have any taste and you can tell they changed the quality of the chicken. The tostones are NOT fresh, they are from a frozen bag. The surullos were raw and flavorless, even the fries were horrible. I don't know if they changed owner in the last 3 years or if they decided to go cheaper in quality but which ever it is they just lost another few customers.
Its a restaurant that needs a mayor upgrade! It's not taking advantage of how restaurants in PR are doing right now with tourism! I've been going to this restaurants for years and it's getting real bad! More than 30 minutes to get our service ready plus the food it's not that great anymore. Extremely disapointed in how poor this restaurant is doing. If I can give a lower review I would definitely give it a 0.
Other than that, if you want to wait 45 minutes for a service to be ready, the masitas de pollo are really good and the recipe has remained the same throughout the years.
I think a new management should fix the problem!

The chicken nuggets were really, really good. That much i cant lie, they were tender and delicious. However that was the only good part of the meal.
I ordered an octopus empanadilla since in the area you cant go wrong with them. I never expected something that smelled weird, let alone taste weird. It is a rule of thumb to not eat seafood that smells weird. I informed the cashier and made the question of when they were made. The people working there didn’t know when they were made.
If your own kitchen staff doesn’t know when the food is made then you got a serious problem. Will not be recommending nor providing a good word of mouth.
After a long day at the nearby islands, this was a much appreciated respite before we hit the road for another 2.5 hour drive. Friendly service, great conversation, food that makes me salivate even as I think about it. The bathroom space was itty-bitty so think skinny thoughts if you need to use the facilities.😄 The photo is not of us dining here but rather of us enjoy what that area had to offer. This is to give you idea of the great day you cam plan to have and pop in here while you're at it!
Had to wait over 40min for our food,
the owner handed are order to another customer by mistake and didn’t take any responsibility. When we questioned the owner that was at the counter he just got upset with us and didn’t apologize . He gave us a speech with lazy excuses. I just ignored him ate my food and left. The food was good but the owner is extremely rude I think he doesn’t care how he speaks to customers because most of his customer are tourist. I was there with my family and we all had the worst customer service experience. Oh and don’t bother asking for extra sauce, the poor employees have to ask the owner permission to give out any extra sauce. Posted my top part of my Receipt to show the time.
