It's an iconic gathering spot...absolutely worth a visit! 1st went there as a patron in 1999, now, 24 years later, I split my time bartending between the Red Rooster and it's sister property, The Sportsmans Bar, both located in Overton. Great drinks

I had an unfortunate experience at this bar when I encountered the bartender Carma, who seemed to be more interested in gossiping about coworkers and customers than providing excellent service. Not only did their behavior create a negative atmosphere, but the hygiene of the place was questionable. The smell of pee and motor oil was very overpowering and alarming. I believe this was due to the negligence of the bar staff to maintain the premises, or perhaps a customer had brought these odors into the building.I was extremely disappointed with my experience and would not recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a professional and welcoming ambiance

Was called racial slurs by the bartender the last Saturday I was there. update: The Jukebox is broke not a problem, the bar let's us use the sound bar anyway. the current bartender wont let you use it thou, or turn the TV music on she said " I don't want to listen to music, you try working karaoke nights it's horrible and you wouldn't want to listen either" so I have to sit in a quite bar? that doesn't seem right we are the customers

Cool little small-town watering hole, good drinks, great bloody Marys!
Beers are cold, not too expensive, people were cool. But b.l.p. next door sucked. $4 for a slice of dried out pizza.
Liquor is fine, pool table is fine. More than half the gaming machines are broken. House keeps change when paying out. Bar tender was nice. Overall, Meh.
