There was a little hiccup when we arrived. They remembered the reservation being made but had failed to put it on the schedule. Regardless, we were seated only 10 minutes late. April was our server, and she was great. Our food arrived rather quickly for such a busy restaurant. Everything was served hot and prepared to our request. Definitely one of the best Red Lobsters we've experienced. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Steaks
I got the salmon bowl. The fish itself tasted a little off. I continue to eat it and when I got to the last inch of the fish it tasted rotten. Spit it out but was almost finished and didn't want to complain then. Husband had the all you can eat shrimp and one of his first pick on was the shrimp in alfredo. Shrimp in the Alfredo was fine but there may have been two tablespoons of sauce that sat on top of the noodles in his dish. Waitressing new and a bit overwhelmed. Management never came around and asked how things were. We had a gift card we were using which was probably more of the reason why we didn't complain at the time. Had we been out of pocket it probably would have been a different scenario. We generally enjoy our meal , can't say that about this visit. All you can eat shrimp, stuffed mushrooms and calamari never disappoint. Always great food. Not so much for the service today. Server passed our table on several occasions and didn’t stop to ask if I needed a refill or another drink for my empty glass. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
I want to be clear and say that our server Rayne was excellent, and had no negative impact on my review. In fact, it’s why my review gets 2 stars instead of one. The food experience was abysmal. Everyone in my party ordered the fish and chips. We scarcely eat seafood and we figured that fish and chips was a safe choice. The coleslaw that was brought to us was not good. I did not personally eat it, but the others in our party agreed that it tasted sour. We kindly asked our server to take it, and she did so promptly. When our fish and chips came out, I was honestly shocked. Two of our plates had only one small piece of overcooked, dry, and chewy fish, while the third plate had 1 piece of fish that took up the entire plate. It was obvious that no real care or discernment was had by the cook that prepared it. Our server was even taken back by it. There was also something atrocious on our plate that we had no earthly clue what it was. I’ll try to post a picture. I’ve never eaten at any Red Lobster before today. I can honestly say that I will never be back to the Owensboro Location, or any Red Lobster again, and I will die a happy man because of it. As soon as we had walked thru the door, we were WELCOMED . Smiling faces ☺️ from the host , waitresses, ppl that had been seated before us. Our waitresse wasn't gushing, but warm inviting and attractive. Then the food had arrived. Something that I look forward to every January. Red Losbter has never failed even thru Covid 19 to prepare a feast fit for a KING for our Weddings Anniversary. Owensboro delivers 🙌 👏 👌 5 star experience ✨️. I went to this particular red lobster about four times since I’ve been in Kentucky and every time the service has been phenomenal. I always get the unlimited shrimp. WITH THE SIDE OF LOADED SEAFOOD MASHED POTATOES!! There is no problem with the refills and they let me get up togo box. I appreciate it 10 out of 10.REAL REVIEW HERE FROM ALABAMA Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
When thinking about Red Lobster, most of us (or maybe just me), think about it being rather fancy, pricey, and a little out of the norm for regular 'Joes' like us. However, let me introduce to you what a fantastic and affordable restaurant this is. We arrived a few minutes after opening simply because my wife couldn't wait for those biscuits any longer! There were very few patrons (this early) and the parking lot was well taken care of. There were nice plots of shrubs that helped alleviate the presence of a busy road next to it. The building was maintained and clean. The interior was moderately lit, clean, and welcoming. There are a few well framed pictures of the New England type picturesque landscapes and lighthouses. We were seated promptly by the hostess and our waitress followed shortly there after. The table, menus, seats, and floors were all very clean. Our drinks came out with a basket of those insanely delicious cheddar biscuits. Of course, we destroyed them! We placed our order, 'Lobster Lover's Dream,' 'Lobster, Shrimp & Salmon,' a side of fries, and then, we ordered a new dish of 'Crispy Brussels Sprouts.' All of our seafood was cooked perfectly. It was juicy, buttery, crisp, flavorful, and hot! The Brussels sprouts, on the other hand, were sliced in half, deep-fried, and coated with a honey ginger sauce that complimented the nutty and smoky flavor. Simply amazing! Brussels sprouts are usually bitter when boiled or steamed, so the deep-frying technique really put a spin on it. Our waitress was very attentive and catered to us at times, but was not overbearing. Everything about our meal is exactly what you would think about being in the New England area or a coastal area. The amount of food we received was perfectly comparable with the quality presented. The price. Well, the price was still a little high for the 'average Joe' like me, but when you order two of the heartiest meals with four different selections of seafood, then it's well worth it! We will be back again soon, hungry for more!
