Let me just tell you about this phenomenal “hole in the wall” of a place!! Our meal was freaking delicious!! It came out as ordered and piping hot!! My burger was cooked to perfection and the onion rings were on point!! My husband’s meal of pulled pork with baked beans and fried okra was superb!! If you are ever out and hungry give this place a try! Atmosphere was relaxed and chill. The waitress was very personable and a lot of fun! I came across this place last week online. It's not far from us and thought we would try it this weekend. Wow! This is a little local place that we never knew was there and the food and atmosphere was awesome. My husband had the pulled pork dinner and I chose the combo with brisket and ribs. My husband did use the sauce, but I did not. All of the meat was tender, full of flavor and delicious. The staff were also wonderful and treated everyone like they were regulars. Google brisket in the area and this place popped up. While I didn't get the brisket because I was eye hustling other customers plates I got a carolina burger. Every bit of food we ordered was outstanding. Portions were more than enough so we had food to enjoy for later. My friend actually did get a brisket sandwich which was super tasty and did not disappoint. Loved the food. Loved the service and loved the atmosphere. Was also surprised by the prices. The waitress wasn’t lying when she said they won Best Burger in the state. The Carolina Burger is the best! I really couldn’t get over how great the prices were for the quality of the food and the service. Makes it a great place to take the family for a meal in a great environment. Severely understaffed but the waitress still did an amazing job juggling it all. She would get 5 stars. Stopped in for early dinner while on business, the food was just not up to par. Brisket was dry and tough, pulled pork was stringy and lacked flavor. Chicken had good flavor but was dry. Skin had awkward texture and ribs were just okay. The sauce given on the side was very good but everything needed it. Potato salad was very good. Slaw was bland. Hopefully some effort can be out back into the quality.
