If you always yearn for a good neighborhood Italian restaurant, this is the one you have imagined. Especially if you live in Minneapolis. Small dining room, intimate bar and incredibly good Italian food. I had the butternut squash soup which was smooth and delicious. A big portion too. Then I had pasta and clams in a wine and butter sauce. The clams were fresh and tasty, the sauce was perfect with a hint of spice. Can’t wait to come back and try something else. Reasonably priced as well. With wine my dinner came to $53.

Ravello is a hidden gem in the city, serving up some of the most delicious pasta I've ever had. I've been there twice now, and I'm already planning my next visit. The pasta is made fresh to order, and the sauces are rich and flavorful.
On my first visit, I tried the Spaghetti Carbonara. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sauce was creamy and delicious, with a hint of smokiness from the bacon. On my second visit, I tried the Shrimp Fra Diavolo and it was amazing.
In addition to the pasta, the restaurant also has a great selection of appetizers and desserts. I highly recommend the Burrata Caprese appetizer, which features fresh burrata cheese, tomatoes, and basil. For dessert, the Tiramisu is a must-try. It's made with light and fluffy ladyfingers soaked in espresso and layered with a creamy mascarpone filling.
The service at Ravello is also excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they make sure that you have everything you need to enjoy your meal.
Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Italian dining experience. The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the prices are reasonable.

Great spot for Italian, be sure to make a reservation as the inside is a little small and can fill up quickly.
Staff was attentive and pleasant. The menu has enough options while not over whelming you, you'll definitely see something that catches your eye.
We live in the area so we walked over, but there's street parking up and down the road, but you should be prepared to walk a little bit.

Truly exquisite Italian food. My husband and I knew this would be a lovely dinner as soon as we tasted the olive oil and bread to start. The Caesar salad was absolutely amazing, and the arancini were to die for. Best kept secret in the area!

Ravello is that genuine, marvellous Italian restaurant that honestly, truly serves house made pasta. What a revelation. There are lots of area Italian restaurants that have house made pasta on their menus, but no, can't be, once you have had the real.thing. Ravello's pasta is toothsome, properly eggy and absolutely fresh. So, a must, but the entire menu, and drinks too, are wonderful.
At our last visit a few weeks ago we started with grilled peppers, good with the focaccia and olive oil on the table. We also shared a very proper, and properly chilled,, bottle of rose. They are generous with the bread, a nice touch these days when places have curbed anything that seems extra.
I had steak, done just right, and switched out the potatoes for their amazing pasta. My husband loved his stuffed chicken breast over roasted potatoes. All entrees come well dressed.
Ravello is fine dining in terms of the cuisine, though less expensive. The room is casually chic, good dishes, silver and linen. Service is attentive, professional, low key in keeping with what the restaurant is all about, which is expert food and wine.
There's plenty of on street parking, and seems handicap accessible. There's plenty on the menu for vegetarians, and gluten free diners, too. Children would be well fed, though might just be spoiled for ordinary pasta, watch out!!It's dinner only, and there were patrons picking up their meal to take out.
Love this restaurant! First time we went there, we sat outside at these really adorable blue tables but it rained and the staff very nicely and quickly moved us inside to the very cozy and cute bar. Great atmosphere, great staff, great food. The arancini and drinks are phenomenal.

A very delicious Italian spot with beautiful dish presentations and warm atmosphere. We ordered the arancini to start, then pappardelle bolognese and short rib ravioli.
The arancini balls were perfectly filled and fried. The handmade pappardelle ribbons were wide in a savory meat sauce. The raviolis were absolutely phenomenal and my favorite - also handmade, and stuffed with chianti-braised short rib with a Marsala cream sauce and beautiful wild sautéed mushrooms. Wow.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting - a perfect date night spot for a relaxed Italian meal. Pleasantly surprised and will be back.

Really good. Perfectly prepared pasta. Grandson and his Grandmother each went to town on the pasta with meatballs. I had the pasta with clams, which were perfectly prepared.
Really impressed with this small restaurant. Food was really great for a solid price. The mocktail I got was delicious. Service was very quick with solid pacing between courses. Will be coming back regularly for sure.
