Very very good beer!! Also the service was fast and friendly, and the place is very homey. That Belgian blonde is the real deal, I had to take some to go! Love everything about this restaurant! Dog friendly, great food, great service and the Holy Smokes drink was delicious 😋 I'm from the North Shore and go out this way for apple picking. Great way to end the apple picking day with my Mom and 2 pups! Highly recommend! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My wife and I were looking for a place for lunch that is dog friendly since we are dog setting. We decided to give Rapscallion a try and we're glad we did. We sat outside on the patio area and drank a couple of their beers before ordering lunch. I had the Belgian Blonde and my wife had the New England IPA. For lunch I ordered the Chef's Cutlet Sandwich and my wife ordered the Korean BBQ Short Ribs Grill Cheese sandwich. Both the beers and sandwiches were very good. Plus our dog had a couple of treats given to her by our waitress! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We came here for lunch this past weekend and were blown away by the fantastic hospitality provided us by the restaurant staff. Our server gave us great suggestions on beers based on our likes/dislikes, and she gave us her honest feedback on the questions we had of the various menu entrees. The poutine with short ribs was great as an appetizer. As an entree, I had the fish and chips with cole slaw, and the fish was nicely prepared as it was lightly breaded and not heavily coated. My wife had the pea risotto with grilled chicken, which she loved as she enjoyed the Parmesan cheese in the dish. Our server and another server helped answer our questions we had of the local area. They never made us feel as if we were bothering them but instead made sure to give us their opinions of the various questions we had about the local area. For a friendly and down to earth place to go with great food, I would highly recommend giving Rapscallion a try. We will definitely be back! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

If you’re driving too quickly you might not spot this hidden gem. I can’t believe I’ve lived in the area for as long as I have and this restaurant was new to me. Located in Acton, MA, it offers a very unique feel where comfort fusions amazingly with the traditional. Although I do not know much about the history of the location of Rapscallion, you notice that they kept the “homey” feel of the original house. The architecture is there and they make great use of it offering private rooms for your party. We were in a large group on a Thursday evening, without a reservation, and we’re able to be accommodated, but I’d suggest you call in advance and ask about having a reservation. The set up indoors was perfect! Service was awesome! Our group tried and shared a variety of apps and main dishes and ALL the food was absolutely delicious! I know this may be seasonal, but if you can try the lobster grilled cheese, please do! I’ve never had anything like it before, and the truffle Brussels sprouts melt in your mouth. I certainly plan to go back in different seasons to try new things and hope our favorites remain available.
A++++ Amazing service, food, atmosphere, friendly staff, prices, location and layout. Wings are delicious, great crunch, lots of flavor and spice. 6-7 per $13 which is good value these days. Poutine was plentiful and delicious. We were able to split amounts 3 people and it be enough. The flatbread pizzas were delightful, with a wide variety. The Fig and Prosciutto was worth every cent. The Marc was was second best. Parking is right out front. They have a large out seating area when it gets warmer. The beer is all brewed in house. I tried the Harvard Lager and the Honey Ale. Would certainly recommend both. Will def come back to try more items in the menu. While this is a far trek from Boston, it’s def worth the visit if you are in Acton.
