Gluten free vanilla cupcake was phenomenal! Quiche was top notch. First quiche I've eaten that I didn't spit out. Cute place. The only criticism is the display of items doesn't go with how good the food is. This was my first visit , and if I went on looks alone I may not have bought anything; and would have missed out on some delicious baked goods!! Dear Owner of Ramona Susan's Bake Shop, I don't know how to reply on your response, so I am editing my review. First of all, thanks for the message, but I want to correct some of your misunderstanding about the time line. I ate all three pieces of your products within 12 hours after purchasing them directly from your shop, especially I ate one bar within a couple of hours after purchasing it. I just want to let you know the fact, and feel necessary that my review readers need to know the fact of the time line clearly. With the best wishes... Very disappointed. I ran into this cute bake shop outside, and checked its rate as 4.8 stars. I got curious and bought three pieces and left for home yesterday (Jun 1st). By the way, you can order only through a small window after checking a menu board. When I opened the box this morning (Jun 2nd), I am surprised by two facts in my option: 1) the pieces are much smaller than expected as you see one of my photos, 2) their taste was very disappointing, especially some insides of the crumble cakes are not comfortable in texture. Chewing was not pleasant as a cake..it was like chewing some old grain bars. In addition, the box quality is too poor for the cake, so it doesn't close well. Moreover, you can taste the box carton's smell as well which is not pleasant to eat either. I am curious how people gave that many stars... I gave one star for the nice service.

My husband and I taste tested cupakes from all over the fishtown/olde Richmond area for our wedding and can now consider ourselves local experts on the subject. We can confidently say that Ramona Susan's is THE BEST in the area. Their flavors are amazing and their frosting to cupcake ratio is just perfect. Aside from the delicious desserts they have a wonderful, friendly and communicative team that was a total pleasure to work with on our order! If you're just stopping by the neighborhood, be sure not to miss their wonderful shop and definitely consider them for your event needs. They were one of the highlights of our wedding! THE ABSOLUTE BEST THING IVE EATEN IN A LONG TIME. Omg! The texture, cream cheese icing, sugar pieces.. everything just messed together so well. Seriously, my new favorite.
