Would certainly give 3.5 stars if possible, but 3 felt too low so going with 4. Hokkaido Chashu Ramen was good. Broth was great, but the potato wedges threw me off and I’m sorry, but what Hokkaido ramen doesn’t come with butter?! (You have to order on the side). Karaage was nice and crispy but underseasoned, and the rice was mushy and flavorless. If you’re going to call yourself an authentic Japanese restaurant, you better know how to make rice, and this wasn’t it.

Authentic food with SO MUCH FLAVOR. Ramen is made to order and let me tell you. It's amazing. The Ramen came with potato wedges in it! Soaked up so much flavor yet still crispy. Delicious. Everything was great. We had 2 vegetarians in our group and it was also their first time having Ramen ever. They said they will come back also. Ridiculously good food. First time in, if I could give 3.5 I would. The atmosphere was pleasant but there is limited seating available. Unfortunately they were out of edamame… which was surprising. The ramen broth had good flavor and the vegetables were pretty basic. The service was very good. Overall it was an average good place and I would recommend trying it if you’re in the area. Depending on the day the wait time varies from 10mins -1hr on the weekends. Very worth the wait regardless, chewy noodles, gooey soy eggs, and perfectly crisp tempura and chicken Katsu.
