Been here more than several times. Today, I visited on a Tuesday at 12:30p and was able to be seated immediately. I always enjoy their fried chicken cartilage and Tantanmen Ramen. The chicken cartilage is super crunchy and not oily. Usually, they serve it with a Japanese aioli type sauce on the side, but not today, however I did not miss it....more unneeded calories! The ramen noodles are nice & chewy, the broth is flavorful, and there are many ingredients making it almost stew-like. Delicious! Oh, and excellent service always!! This is one of the three worst Ramen I have ever had. I think they forgot to add salt to the soup. The noodles were too soft and terrible. We couldn't even eat half of it. When I entered the restaurant I was taken to my seat without being greeted. They are boringly accommodating without a smile or a word when it comes time to pay the bill. I will not be coming back again. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Nice location inside City Center Bishop Ranch. We requested for outside seating and it was setup quickly with a heater. We liked all the appetizers we ordered. Renkon chips hit the right flavors. Deep Fried Gyouza is fried to the apt amount and juicy inside, meat was delicious. Takoyaki was melting in the mouth. Portions were okay. Coming to the Ramen, we were disappointed big time. Except Tantanmen there is no other creamy ramen options. Miso Ramen was just miso broth without any additional flavors, chicken was undercooked, too less broth. We didn’t like Yuzu Vegetarian Ramen even, similar stuff, broth wasn’t flavorful, too less broth for the ramen quantity. There is additional broth option on the menu but not at the cost of giving less than required broth in the ordered ramen. Prices are okay for the setting but there is lot of work needed in Ramen department when compared to most ramen joints in Bay Area. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

I great place for ramen and appetizers. I have been to other Hiroshi locations and this one is good. One of the better restaurants at the Lot Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Hiroshi Tonkotsu Ramen
Average and mediocre. Broth was bland and grey, some veggies were cold. Good egg, good noodle, not much else. I could have made the same or better with top ramen at home. Disappointed. Service Dine in Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Visited here on Friday around 1:45pm for late lunch. We were seated immediately and we ordered right away. i ordered chicken karaage for appetizer and 2 bowls of hiroshi tonkotsu ramen. This was everything kinda downhill. We had to wait for almost 20 minutes for the ramen. That was after I asked the server because I saw 2 tables who came after us got their food first. The chicken karaage (that was supposed to be an appetizer) came last after I asked another server to check on it. I also had to ask for napkins and water refill. I am disappointed at the service despite the friendliness of the servers. Now the food. I ate at Ramen Hiroshi at Walnut Creek last year and remembered that the ramen was good. Here, I was disappointed at the broth. The broth was flat - lack of umami flavor. However, I still like the firm thin ramen & the sweet chasiu. I had to take out the pickled ginger like last time in Walnut Creek because it tasted weird with the ramen imo. The chicken karaage was good. The skin was crispy but the meat was tender. The portion for the karage was good for the price. Not sure I would come back here in the future but it was a decent bowl of ramen. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

OMG... I was looking forward to this place. Great location and nicely decorated. The service was generally good. However, the key thing going to a restaurant is the FOOD and that fell short. The Gyoza was baked fried, bread like, filled with veggies. I had both Tonkatsu Ramen dishes and the noodles were under cooked, the so-called soft boiled egg was hard boiled and cold??? The soup was extremely salty. I will not be eating here again unfortunately. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Good food great service. I love the Raman here. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
As an Japanese Ramen chef, here is my 2 cents: 1. Many people claims the noodle is undercoocked, that is not true. These thin noodles are supposed to be boiled this way. Softer noodles are typically considered as negative in Japan. I think they boiled the noodle in very decent amount of time. 2. People also claims the broth is salty. Here is the problem: when people feel salty, most of the time the problem is not the amount of salt but other reasons. I think their problem is a lack of MSG and salt. Surprised? 1) Pork broth needs significant amount of MSG because Pork does not contains enough Glutamate but instead a lot of Inosinic acid. 2) Because their broth is actually pretty thick, they need to add more salt to taste these Umami flavors. 3. Egg is properly "soft-boiled" compared to "American-ramen-chain-soft-boiled eggs" which I consider them undercooked. 4. Their Pork chashu is too thick IMO, also lack of flavor. Should slice way more thinner for this type of Ramen bowl.
After eating ramen and takoyaki, the server automatically added a tip 18% to the bill but 18% of service charge amount was not itemized in the bill, the server left it as blank as if the customer can still tip more but 18% of service charge was already added in the total price. What a shaddy way to rip off teenager customers. The teenager students who had lunch there ($17each ramen & $9 one takoyaki + tax = ($17×2+$9 )×1.1 = $47.3) paid $56. Isn't it customer who decide how much they want to tip also why server decides the tip% and added it in the total amount !!!! Lots of students probably go there on their minimum days or before school break to hang out with friends. Check your bill, don't just pay !!!
