We went through the drive thru at lunch time and thought it would take forever, but the line moved quite quickly! It only took about 15 minutes to go halfway around the building!
The food was delicious! It was hot, well seasoned without being overly salty like the Z place, and the chicken wasn't fried so hard as to be inedible. I prefer Cane's fries, which aren't covered in seasoned salt and the very best part of the meal is the bread!
The only thing I would change is that my friend and I, two women, were approached by a panhandler asking for food money. I don't know the schedule for soup kitchens in Athens. However, it was kind of scary to be approached by someone who is homeless and is begging for money for food when I'm in an unknown area with a friend and we are two women alone in the vehicle.
Other than that, Raising Cane's was a very good experience and the best food we could have gotten that day I will return and and look forward to it very much.

This place never disappoints. Oil is evidently changed frequently and the quality of the fried tenders has never been matched by any fast-food restaurant I’ve been to. Must have if you’ve never been, and the Cane’s sauce is just perfectly formulated. I’d also recommend trying their sweet tea and lemonade, or an Arnold Palmer if you’re like me. Best part is they open til 2AM.
The one time they accidentally didn’t give me the right number of chicken fingers, they gave me a whole meal for free.

Visited the Athens location. The drive-thru line was out in the street and down the block. That in itself a test to the quality of the food that is served here. Once we reached the drive-thru speaker, our order was promptly taken, and we were in and out of the parking lot shortly at that point. The chicken was hot and fresh, with an excellent texture and flavor. Not many choices on the menu, but the tenders alone will bring you back to this place. The fries aren't much to speak of sort of cheap in my opinion, but the chicken tenders again were absolutely amazing for what you would think would be a simple chicken finger. The slaw was very good, and I love the barbecue bread that they serve with their meals.

I came in during their grand opening weekend. The drive thru line was long. It's really not a lot of room in the parking lot. I ordered a 3 piece tenders meal with a sweet tea. My food was hot which was the only good part. I only received 2 of the 3 tenders. They had no flavor. The fries were not even done. The sweet tea was way too sweet. I threw it away. A knock off of the other fast food chain and not in a good way.
