For the price I paid for a plate of food it was definitely not worth it. Waffles were undercooked, chicken had no seasoning or crunch, and the Mac was not appetizing. Maybe it was just an off day for the restaurant but I'm not willing to pay those high prices again. The staff was nice though. Like-Homemade deliciousness. I was really craving some fried, crispy chicken 🍗. Omg. The chicken and waffles is hands down my fav. The chicken is crispy, crunchy on the outside and juicy, flavorful on the inside. It was just soo good. The portions are huge on whatever you order. My only gripe wasn’t even mine it was my kiddos, she wanted Mac and cheese but didn’t like that it had jalapeños in it. She tore up the chicken and the waffles tho.

Visit started off very rough since the owner approached my companion's in the parking lot and advised she needed to move since she'd been sitting outside making calls. He was concerned that she wasn't parked for business. After he was informed that it is never a good idea to approach anyone outside in a parked vehicle, he apologized and we went inside to dine. The meal was delicious! Well seasoned, great temperature, and served quickly. We ordered the family meal that serves 3 people and had plenty of leftovers. Sadly during our visit, the owner kept interrupting our dining experience with his personal brand of humor (ex. Asking us to leave so other diners could use our seats..although no other diners, requesting tips then flashing his wallet after being declined, and even flirting). The banter was witty at some points and unwelcome at others since the dining experience was with a purpose. The location is small, yet ample for a small gathering. Parking is a challenge upfront but decent in the back. The establishment is BYOB, so the neighboring business might be an option for those who choose it. Best fried chicken. Period. Perfectly crispy and juicy. Collard greens were amazing, tender, delicious. The mac and cheese was creamy with a tiny kick. They were like no other mac and cheese I’ve ever had. The ribs dry rub was light but gave its own particular flavor. Perfectly tender. The owner, Ken “Rags” greeted us before we walked in the door. The atmosphere and people were absolutely amazing. This is a BYOB establishment. People we never met offered us wine!! This is a new must go to and we’ll be back soon to try the rest of the menu!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
We just happen to come across this restaurant and it is truly a diamond in the rough. The young man that waited on us, prepared & cooked our food and also delivered it hot & tasty. The food was abundant and very well prepared. Everything was made fresh on site. I had the dark meat chicken with fries & mac & cheese. Take a look at the fries... I loved them cooked this way. This was the best mac & cheese I've ever tasted. The way it was seasoned was just perfect and I enjoyed the added ingredients. I'm not going to spoil it, you'll have to order it! Oh by the way park to the right of the door and come on Thursdays, live music that night. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

I love fried chicken, their chicken was well seasoned but not over powering. It was super crispy on the outside but the inside was very juicy. I had their grape drink with it, also very good. The waffle wasn’t my favorite, I found it too dense but tasted fine. Support local family business! Service Dine in

Delicious! Our order was taken by the owner. Super cool cat. sat at the communal table. We got the chicken dinner with fries Mac and cheese and grits. And a waffle on the side. Man .....mmmmm....Chicken was a touch dry but in a good way! Skin was perfect...seasoning perfect....We got the dark meat 2 legs and a thigh we smothered it in hot sauce and syrup. Grits were well seasoned...Mac was creamy and well seasoned....fries were well seasoned....waffle had a cinnamon batter and was very delicious smothered it in syrup. Live music...went on a Saturday morning...looks like they have an all you can eat breakfast! Will be back for that . It was like going to your aunt's house for lunch ....highly recommend giving this family run business a try ! Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20
This place has the kind of vibes that makes you feel like you stepped into someone's home. The people are welcoming and warm. The hospitality is over the top! The entertainment (dj and live performance) was fantastic. The chicken and waffles were delicious. The chicken is so juicy and the waffles were perfect. A new favorite spot for sure! The combination of food, music, atmosphere, and the people make you feel like you've been transported to somewhere special. Somewhere, where only good vibes and love abides.

I ordered the 2 piece white chicken meal the chicken was fried to perfection by Rags son. However it was under seasoned. The baked beans have ground beef in them. I don’t like meat in my beans so I scooped them out. The beans are pretty good. The Yams taste and look like they are canned. They were alright as well. Rags is a character and his family was nice and pleasant. I’ll go back and try something else or asked for my chicken yo have extra seasoning before frying.
