I recently had the pleasure of dining at Quintinha D'Arga, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance.
The menu at Quintinha D'Arga offered a selection of dishes that showcased the flavors of the Minho region. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The attention to detail and the culinary expertise were evident in every bite.
The service at Quintinha D'Arga was unique. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive. However, this is definitely not adequate for a fast paced dinner with friends. You are expected to savour your time there.

Amazing hosts! Carlos and his family were super helpful during our stay and helped us with taxis and also helped us find another place to stay when we decided to extend our trip. The room was amazing and beautiful. The food was incredible. Would love to go back someday,||David and Virginia
I am really thanking so much QUINTINHA D’ARGA for letting us experience the most unforgettable and beautiful staycation where me and my husband celebrated our 3rd Wedding Anniversary, June 2018. We have stayed for a maximum 4 days but it felt like we wish to stay even more longer. The hotel is feeling so homey and at the same time very friendly athmosphere. The “Rustic Food” and the restaurant is one of the BEST we had dine in. Top quality food, very unique menu and fantastic Chef, are the highlights of the restaurant. Everyone in the hotel were very lovely and very accommodating. We are really happy of the experience of this great staycation. We will definitely be back in this Amazing Hotel. Really friendly welcome. We booked 3 rooms through trip advisor and all of an excellent standard although fairly basic. The evening meal was magical, trying new cuisine and listening to the waiter playing the guitar. Our eldest daughter pitched in with her own set-list. A very proud moment. We finished the meal with coffee and honey brandy.
Wonderful place and very kindly staff. We didn't comunicate that we travel with a dog but there was no problem at all. We had a really tasty dinner (cheap guests menu) and also breakfast was good. The room was a little bit warm cause there is not AC but there was 40°C outside so this was normal.
My husband and I can here for dinner on our honeymoon. We were staying at a house nearby and our proprietor recommended Quintinha D'Arga for dinner. Our experience was nothing short of phenomenal. Flor and her family treated us like family and we enjoyed a truly special and intimate dinner that we will remember for years to come. We enjoyed the house appetizers--meat and cheese, cod cakes, and salad with local herbs, along with an excellent selection of wine recommended by Flor. For dinner, I had the octopus and my husband had the beef rib special. The portions were plentiful and the food was delicious. We capped off the meal with a chocolate wine dessert. We were really amazed by the hospitality and the quality of the food. ||On our trip we ate at many excellent restaurants, including a Michelin star restaurant in Lisbon. Our meal at Quintinha D'Arga was by far our favorite. I hope to come back soon!
I want to surprise my wife for our wedding anniversary, i was looking for a agroturismo and as well hotel pet friendly for our medium size dog.|We have been there for 4 days in Room “Serra D’Arga” - as requested romantic set up with roses petals, etc etc ||WOW!!!|It was much impressive more than expected!|My wife like soo much, they set up the room soo nice, as you can see from photos, and we enjoy those days and we dine in the Tasca da Quintinha for all the days and the food was very genuine and top quality.|Perfect wine matching, traditional recipes, amazing dessert with red wine and chocolate, never see before, same like the digestive! Every thing prepared with love and homemade!|Congratulations to the Chef and to all her family, you make us feel at home!|We will definitely be back.|Obrigado!

I am writing a review only about their restaurant. Local person recommended this family place. Initially they brought us some tasty blood sausage , bread, olives, which they charged us for without askin BUT this is typical for Portugal. When we try to order 1 entree were basically told no so we ordered 2. Don't get fouled about getting the typical cod for 2 people 20 Euro. 1 serving is enough for 2 people which will cost you only 9 euro. Wouldn't recommend eating here. Not much of value. It is actually cheaper to eat in a big city. Everything overpriced.
