I got a very bad experience. I ordered for foofoo and okra soup with goat meat. The okra soup was so tasteless and the goat meat doesn’t taste like goat meat. I regretted it.

We had jollof rice, fried plantains, chicken stew, and goat stew, and every bit of it was delicious! We called in advance to order, so our food was out really fast after arriving. Gave the one in Riverdale a shot, despite my experience with the Bowie location. SMH horrible. My co-worker continues to being me food from. But I promise the portions and quality he bring and the ones I buy always look different. I’m American, he’s African. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I purchased 2 Egusi soups xtra for assorted meat $35. 3 pieces of meat in each. And DROWNING in oil. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Smh I’m disputing it on my card this time. Not today and Never again.

Today is Monday January 31 2022 I just bout the lunch special from Queensway Restaurant in riverdale and as you see here I’ve not started eating my food but it looks like I have .. I spent 16 box on the lunch special which was supposed to be 10 now the lady was so selfish that she couldn’t give enough portions smh I won’t advise you to go here if you hungry cause you’ll spend a hole lot of money nd still be disappointed in the portions of food.. only thing I commend is that they have a very good taste .. I’m not giving any star

I really hate to do this but after years this restaurant hasn’t gotten itself together. This will be my 4th and ABSOLUTE last time ordering from them. As a restaurant you should pride yourselves in making delicious food for your customers. Their cooking tastes like what a 10 year old who is just figuring out how to cook would make. Absolutely basic, I have high standards ESPECIALLY when it comes to African cuisine (because our food is uniquely delicious). Every single time I have eaten here I’m always disappointed in the quality of the food but they will make you pay quality food price and give you the bare minimum. I don’t recommend eating here at all because at this point nothing has changed after 4 tries. The less than satisfactory reviews of other patrons are telling the truth.

The jollof rice is my go to. The goat meat is tender, unlike most African restaurants. And the portion is pretty impressive!

This is hell. Today is my first time @this restaurant. I regret ordering from them. Hard rice, tasteless goat meat and usless stew. I cook way better than this. My girl said mum this is trash. The stew was just fried 🍅 paste. Never in my life will i go there. I will keep patronizing jollof at Annapolis road 😥😥😥 I'm disappointed
