I saw the Queens of Cobbler tent at the Palm Springs Village Fest on a recent visit and decided to try their mixed berry cobbler. Honestly I was prepared to be underwhelmed because most pies and cobblers have over sweetened, indeterminate filling in a tough crust. Boy was I wrong!! The crust was amazing and my only disappointment was that I got the single serving size so there was only a top crust. Now to the best part, the mixed berry filling, you could see and taste each type of berry, it was juicy without being soupy and it was just sweet enough. So often filling is just a nasty mess but the Queens of Cobbler have nailed it!! It's a mixed blessing that I live in San Diego, I'd love to get these more often but then I'd be buying new clothes because I'd need a bigger size. Well done and I will be back!!
Our first visit to the store, we were greeted with a warm and friendly smile. We ordered 3 banana puddings and 1 peach cobbler..we decided to sample the banana pudding in the parking lot.. AMAZING...We went back in and ordered 3 more.. the peach cobbler AMAZING...I remember a small happy dance going on while I ate it. DOUBLE crust and not too wet..both desserts were made with fresh ingredients and not too sweet... perfect..I would highly recommend this sweet gem💎
Yesterday my mom bought us the peach cobbler, banana pudding and the dump cake- everything was absolutely delicious. The man helping my mom was super nice and friendly, I’d really recommend coming here. Such a lovely place, they deserve a lot more business!
Nice Young fellow running this place cooks great cobblers working with his Auntie's recipes. Peach was world class. CHERRY was out the ball park. Fairly new shop. I hope not to loose him as supplier of my new favorite dessert.
