Ive been coming here for years. Whether its for drinks, dinner, a show, or a date (or all of the above), the atmosphere, food, and service is always spot on. Last night, I got the Chophouse burger add jalapenos (med well) with OB tots. Burger was seasoned and cooked perfectly, tots were hot and crispy. Bangin. Super cute dive bar - greasy and incredibly delicious burgers and decent drink pours. They have a lot of space in the bar at the back as well and you can join tables together. They have space where you could potentially have larger parties too. For drinks they have a pretty extensive menu with a few upscale options as well. The best hidden gem in Silver Spring! Love their Chophouse and Morning Glory burgers! They have delicious homemade ranch and blue cheese. Food always fresh and staff is very nice and attentive. My band played a show at Quarry House this past Saturday and it was a total pleasure. One of the few places in the area that really makes the extra effort to create a welcoming and spontaneous atmosphere for their crowd. The food was also really solid, and the folks tending bar were super chill and attentive at the same time. My new fave. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The chophouse burger is ELITE. Plus a great bourbon. Selection with tons of great and rare finds. To top it off, place has an excellent dive bar vibe with a bit of history. We will be back when in the area, I recommend trying it if you’re looking for a dive bar with good alcohol selection and great food. Price per person $10–20

A very good beer pub in Silver Spring. Cheese tots and nachos with avocado were enough and tasty. Quick and polite service. Very good music, wanted it to be a bit louder though. I recently visited Quarry House Tavern and had an amazing experience! The burgers were some of the best I've ever had, and the extensive beer selection was impressive. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a great selection of music playing in the background. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent. I also appreciated the great prices and the overall value for the quality of the food and drinks. What a cool place and a true hidden gem in Silver Spring! Extensive selections of great beer and liquor. Food is amazing too. Got a burger and tots basket with cheese, and both are perfectly delicious. Service is fast and friendly as well. What’s not to love?

This was a cool little place that we kind of stumbled upon. A nifty funky vibe awesome food by the way. Alexander the server was scooting around the restaurant very hard worker. The food portions are definitely fair I recommend the hot wings and/or the burger that has the egg and bacon on it. I’m sure all of it’s delicious but that’s what I had. Would definitely will come here again when in town.

Great Dive Bar, keeping it real in the midst of a glass and steel downtown Silver Spring. Draft beer list of about a dozen rotates seasonally and has something for everyone. Looking for something in particular? There's a massive craft beer list! Burgers are a mainstay at QH, but try the fried onion rings too. Tater tots are surprisingly good as well. The secret? They set the deep fryer temp high which makes the fried foods crisp and not greasy. Vegan options are available and also tasty. Interesting seasonal offerings keep the menu dynamic and the regulars coming back for more Service is great, prompt and efficient, yet personal. Nice to see this long-standing local hangout thriving in the middle of the chain restaurant wasteland that Silver Spring has become. Highly recommended!
