seafood restaurant, very windy outside. You take the ordering board outside and once you ready you pay and wait outside for them to shout out table number. A lot of mosquitoes around. Food is alright and affordable.

Dropped by at Qiu Sashimi for high tea after a vist at Maobitou. Ordered their assorted Sashimi, fresh and bigger cut, nice to eat. Also tried their clam soup and grilled Oyster. Soup is bland but have the taste of the sea. Oyster doesnt taste fresh though.
Overall, its still a good try if you happen to pass by.

Expect long waits during lunch & dinner hours. I recommend coming in the afternoon. Loved the sashimi and the different dishes. It was delicious and definitely a highlight of my kenting trip. Would come again, but at a different time.

Summary: probably a tourist trap, but potentially no limit on sashimi.
We ordered 10 pieces of sashimi, some clams, and a baked scallop and uni dish. The sashimi was average, and the clams were okay. I didn't think this place was that yummy, so we went down a little further to Houbihu market for more sashimi.
We went down there and the restaurants actually limit you on how much sashimi you get. We didn't experience that here, so maybe this is a better place to go if you wanted more sashimi

Super fresh sashimi at amazing prices! $100 for a serving! And you must have the fresh bamboo shoots! Really surprisingly good! There's parking further down the road. Make a stop! Gets crowded during lunch and dinner so plan ahead!

It’s like a typical bait and switch scam. Sashimi is priced low but there is a minimal order amount imposed on the customers. We came here for Sashimi but they forced us to order a lot of food we didn’t want. We came all the way to Houbifu for the famous sashimi but this is a real disappointment. It’s so hot and we took a high-price taxi to arrive here which left us no option but to eat here. We hated to waste but look this is what we had left- too much food because we had to order over 1000NT to be eligible for this much sashimi we wanted. The sashimi were not very good cuts. Fresh, yes, but stringy.
Definitely the best seafood place I’ve been to in Taiwan
All dishes were awesome, truly amazed
Especially the sashimi, really fresh and tasted perfect
Highly recommended
Come in groups so that you can try all dishes
But be prepared for a long wait
No doubt the seafood and each dishes are fresh and good.
Make sure to ask clearly price for those that don’t remark on first.
We are surprise of their manager attitude, so rude!
He just want to you to leave ASAP.
But waitresses are nice.
Fresh seafood and its taste is awesome. Food serving fast.
We went in a rainy day so the crowds were not too packed. After ordering and paying, we got a number. We were lucky enough for only waiting for about 10 mins. 15 pieces of salmon sashimi for $100 seems too good to be true for us. But we were wowed by the high quality of salmon! Besides, we ordered cold bamboo with mayonnaise, deep fried shrimp balls with pineapple and ginger clam soup. They’re unbelievably yummy!! Trying local food instead of delicate dining makes a special bond between Kenting and me :)
The downside of this place is 1. You need a vehicle to get here. 2. They don’t have English menu.
