This old time restaurant is a must visit. Food is excellent with the old time set up adding to the "feel".
The fish dishes are a must order. The oil dipped cod fish slices are made to perfection. I can't find another restaurant that is able to do it the way this place does. The river prawns are also great - oil fried version is the best. Another order is the steamed free range chicken. We tried the wolf berries steamed chicken this time around which was really good as well. Finally was the prawn paste taufu which was also good.
No complaints at all save for the noise levels. Albeit, this adds on to the environment hence not really an issue. Pricing is really affordable.

The best Chinese restaurant in Ipoh . They are famous with kicap fried prawn , steam prawn and kicap fried Codfish . Everyone from outstation will come here to have their meal .
Pricing here is ok as you know if you eat in the seafood restaurant like this , definitely is not cheap . But it’s worth it.
This time we order oyster sauce fried codfish and this fish is unbelievable tasty . Just that a little dry not too much of gravy . But the task is awesome and fish is fresh and crunchy. The tofu is their chef recommended dish . Make sure you dip with their home made chili sauce .
This restaurant is a double stories shop and is very spacious . And the locals will always have their weddings functions here . This is an air conditioned restaurant and only indoor seatings are allowed .
Staff are friendly and very attentive. Highly recommended!
