Had a wonderful time tonight! From the host stand to the table & all throughout the experience, the staff made us feel welcome & at ease! Our server, Heather, was amazing and even gave excellent drink and food recommendations. She was also just delightful as a human, the perfect person for a hospitality industry job. The music was beautiful and effortless, just a smooth quartet bringing the ambiance. I just want to thank the whole crew for making this a Christmas to remember!

Wonderful dinner and music experience at the Purple Room. Everyone was so kind, the food and drinks were delicious and the decor/vibes were unmatched. To top it off you have wonderful live jazz music to enjoy. Must do in Palm Springs!

I thought I had died and went to heaven when I stepped into The Purple Room. Melissa greeted me at the door and ushered me to a great seat at the bar where the most amazing bartender Chris served me. I enjoyed two perfectly concocted martinis and the sole picatta. I couldn't have been happier. I was referred to The Purple Room by local business owner Marianne (Marianne's of Palm Springs). Marianne is a neighbor of the lady who was performing and left a voicemail with her to tell her that I was coming. I have been a piano bar entertainer for many years and I like to show my appreciation of great talent. At the end of Robin's performance I simply walked up to the piano (with a generous tip in hand) to tell her how much I enjoyed her performance. I was immediately accosted by hostess HEATHER and was ordered to get away from the stage! Heather made me feel like a criminal!! There were two longtime residents of Palm Springs who witnessed Heather's behavior and were appalled. They assured me that that is so not Palm Springs and that I should notify management. I did. I did apologize to HEATHER (which I felt was unnecessary) and she simply turned her nose up and would not acknowledge me. If it wasn't for HEATHER, I would give this establishment a ten star rating out of five. It really is that amazing. HEATHER is a poor representative of the establishment. Melissa and Chris profusely apologized on her behalf.. If I am not blacklisted for writing this review, I hope go back though because it is just that amazing!

What a great place to take visitors for that old Palm Springs kind of entertainment. I went for Thanksgiving dinner and had a wonderful time with friends while listening to good jazz music, and also while enjoying the best Old Fashioned I've ever. I will definitely visit again.
Fantastic music in a small venue. Really enjoyed our dinner, drinks and fun. Definitely include this spot on your itinerary what you come to Palm Springs. A great evening for all ages.
Note, we did not go for dinner. We sat at the bar and had drinks, so I cannot comment on the food. We were there on a Wednesday, and the entertainment was great. I will say, that while the three main entertainers were wonderful, there was a special guest (I cannot recall his name) who was a 19 year old guy who won some local competition recently and he was outstanding! If/when he's ready, they should book him on the regular. In addition to the show, which I highly recommend, the service at the bar was great and the drinks were strong and old school in the best way possible. Glad we made this part of our trip!

An iconic club with a history of the original and only Rat Pack performed in. Fantastic food service. Our meal started with escargot and shrimp. I chose the braised beef ribs as an entrée and my wife ordered the sole. The meal was topped off with cremebrulee. The braised ribs were delicious, but they were not ribs. As an old meat cutter, I would have to say that they were a cut off of the inside round of a beef. My wife said that the sole was delicious. The cremebrulee was very good, but I have had better. Waitress was superb, and the entertainment was Rose Mallett sang some jazz and had a wonderful voice. Overall, it was a great experience for and I would consider another visit should we be in town again. A reservation is a must.

Small venue that has a definite retro vibe. Live music performed while you eat. The tables close to the stage may find it a bit loud. The tables behind the bar still offer some view of the stage. The owner greets and seats you and seems wonderful. He was very accommodating about our seating preference. The beef tenderloin and sole that we had were fabulous. Side dishes and salads great too. The ice cream sammy for desert…not so much. That desert was like an airport concession. Dinner rolls were very average. Good attentive service. They have a two hour limit on your table, although no one was pushy. They had jazz our night. Overall, my spouse and I felt like this was a winner! We will be back

The food was good. Service was efficient and good. The entertainer Carole Bufford was fantastic and sang a very diverse repertoire of songs from the 1920s to the 2020s.

Classic supper club atmosphere with more of a dark, speakeasy feel. Live musical performer was great. Cocktails were maybe the best I've ever had! 🍸 Food was good as well. Service could've been better, however. Server took a LONG time to take our order (about 40 min. and after orders for tables seated after us) and we were charged for an item we didn't order. When we asked our server about it, there wasn't an apology and she said she already ran our card so paid us in cash for the mistaken item instead. Seemed a little improper and the reaction to the error isn't what I'd expect.
