Fantastic spot to pick up lunch before a hike. The pollo is shredded, not grilled. Whether you prefer one style over the other is entirely preference, but I found their shredded chicken to be scrumptious. They do a fantastic job packing up the food, too. Our burrito and chicken torta easily survived a hike up to Lake 22. Great spot to pick up food prior to any of the great nearby hikes. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We all ordered a variety of things to go. It was pretty good. The flavors of some of the items seemed bland and needed a thicker sauce or seasoning. It was a new kind of food for us so it was a cool experience to try! Service Take out Meal type Dinner

This is one of the first times I have eaten El Salvadorian food but I found everything to be excellent. It says something about the food that my partner and I were the only ones speaking English in the whole place. It's simple but delicious. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I am new to the city and we saw this place and decided to come. Being Salvadorean, I love pupusas. They were good, huge but the chicharron (pork) was too dry. It has to be a bit moist. My daughter ate yuca con chicharrón (Casava root with pork) and the chicharrón was fried too much, the chicharrón too dry too. The pupusas with queso revueltas (mixed with chicharrón) con loroco (Salvadorean plant) was mainly just cheese. Overall, not bad. Would come again. I bought some empanadas (stuffed sweet plantains). I’ll eat them at home. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 4

This place is incredible. I moved here from Portland almost a year ago and have not found a restaurant in Marysville that is worth a second visit - Until now! About a month ago I stopped in for tacos, I got the chicken and asada and was blown away! At first glance, it appears to be just a Latino tienda and you can buy lots of different grocery items from Central America. But! They have a full kitchen in the back, and there is both counter seating and booth/table seating through a doorway. They have a full menu, so I brought my boyfriend back so that we can explore El Salvadoran food- and wow wow wow wow! We ordered the chicken pastelitos salvadoreños and I have never in my life had something so delicious. Not kidding. My Bf ordered a chicken tamale, and was pleasantly surprised as it’s not a traditional tamale - but instead so tender and juicy. The must try’s in our opinion: the Maracuyá soda, it’s a passion fruit juice/soda; the pastelitos salvadoreños chicken or beef; the chicken tacos. The waitress also recommended we try their pupusas on our next visit, we definitely will! Pro tip: there is no parking in front of the store, so park in the free spaces around Comeford Park (the park with the water tower) The entrance is on State Ave, in the plaza next to the Bank. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I ordered food from this place today food was trash.the lady taking the order hardly new English it was hard getting my order in. I ordered a torta (which I had to come home and toast my own bread) and the lady asked did I want ham on it but I couldn't understand wat she was saying then had the nerve to give me a side eye for not understanding her .never mind the fact she wrote my order down Wrong in the first place . Alot of goofing off in the kitchen from wat I seen I knew the food was going to be trash . I'm a Cook and I take pride in any food I make especially when someone thought enough to spend there hard earned cash with you .lesson learned that's wat I get for trying to contribute to a small business.who don't appreciate my money!

Came here to grab a delicious breakfast before heading out on a trip and was not disappointed! Wish I had taken more pictures of the food to share, but everything looked so good we ended up devouring it as soon as it came out! Amazing service, sauces (especially the spicy one) were soo delicious, and it came out pretty quick considering how much we ordered! I’m from the Bay in California and have had my fair share of pupusas, and these were so amazing! Thanks again!!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
